Well one person *cough* TTID *cough* has disagreed with my earlier post, and seems to think we are better off holding out for a profit on a 32 year old declining midfielder, risking spunking £3.6m a year if no-one coughs up.
It's not sensible, people. Claw back 2 or 3 million, thank him for his help and consider it a good piece of business, for what he has given us during his time with us.

We've had ITK on Parker, so there shouldn't be an issue when it comes to talking about the merits of keeping him and paying a ridiculous wage (compared to what he actually offers), or shipping him out. Didn't we pay around £5m for Parker? Yet somebody is in the belief that we should hold out for a profit, for a guy who turns 33 just 8 weeks into th new season, is a bit part player & will only be wanted by a select few clubs? I'll have a toke on whatever that person is chuffing on
