Why is everyone assuming this means Swedish as opposed to a well known player?
It's not necessarily a well known player, it's just the guy said he wasn't native to England and was asking what not from these shores mean. Its a simple joke that seems to have eluded a fair few

It was a joke, he’s not from here and neither is the target, so he “might” know him

Sorry, a total whoosh moment. Not the first, won’t be the last.

Sweet Jesus, it was a joke. Poster stated that he didn’t understand the term “not from these shores” as he isn’t an English native I.e Not from these shores.
Trip replies “you may know him”
As a joke.
Because he isn’t from these shores either.

the poster asked the question what does the term 'not from these shores mean' as they arent a British national

people replied it meant they weren't a British national or not playing here at least.

Trix joked 'you might know him' as both the poster and player weren't British nationals.

That simple

If we are moving on from Spence, I'd hope its the Danes next (Maehle?). Motors up and down all day, decent cross etc not sure how he is defensively tho. Am very sure that Conte & Paratici have things covered choice wise tho.
IIRC Singo was once offered to us but was OTT valuation
