Really smart business, allows us to pursue Bastoni and Gvardiol the rest of the window to see if an opportunity presents itself without the risk of being caught with our pants down if someone changes their mind at the end of the window

If that's accurate then I hope we would be nailing that down asap as everyone and his dog will be in for Gvardiol next year. It still seems quite risky if that is indeed the strategy.

Following on from my last post. Clubs keen, but not so sure about the players. We WILL have a RWB for sure. Regarding Spence, too much conflicting stories out there. We have not budged! Conte is happy and impressed.

A nice 1 month stop gap before bastoni joins in august

With Lenglet I think its possible we just want to complete the deal in time for the tour. Then we can continue discussing the option to buy next summer. With Spence I hope Boro cave in if they are aware we've moved onto another target so they could maybe come back and accept our offer still? If not I hope the other from abroad is a natural wing back.

I wonder, now with Bremer looking unlikely, if there’s a chance we end the window with only Lenglet as a CD addition. If our two targets are these and we are not willing to compromise and Inter/RB aren’t willing to sell. Ether way I guess we will watch the Bastoni situation play out for the rest of the window incase something changes.
