Has The Goat's signature always been 'Arise, wretched of the earth'?? If not, is there a link to the left-wing anthem entitled "The Internationale?"

All gone a bit quiet but a few bits

Spence looked most likely, but not any more.

Langlet not sure why that's being held up all but signed off, but it is being delayed.

Bremer nothing's changed, his partner doesn't want to move to UK, he'd prefer Italy.

All sounds negative and yet I'm being told we still think more in before Korea.

Bastoni as I posted 2 weeks ago deal was not dead, and also interest in Di Lorenzo from Napoli.

So Italy may well still hold the key to what's going on, though with how quiet things have gone I wouldn't be surprised to see a rabbit from the hat situation.

Arise Ye Wretched of the Earth": The First International in a Global Perspective

Looks like a further hint towards Inter after yesterday's cryptic ??

I wonder if Lenglet being on hold means we’re working on a bigger CB signing (Bastoni or similar), and may not finalise Lenglet if it goes through?

Lenglet delay must because we’re still working on something else in the background and we’re waiting to see if that comes off before pulling the trigger on him. Assuming it’s someone from Inter based on the latest info!

edit: great minds @SpursAU !

I'm not sure if that means imminently likely or likely at all. And if the latter, I wonder who we are looking at instead.

Hopefully some media news today if we’re still hopeful of more in before Korea but with 2 days to go it looks a long shot ?

I think it must be the case although I could only see Lenglet coming in now before Korea. It's the only one far enough along.

If we are dealing with Italy I'd be surprised if we'd get someone in before we fly out to Korea, I never managed a quick deal with anyone in Italy.
Not saying we won't make a deal, I'm sure we can, just that I think it's unlikely in the next two days.

RWB is the one position we absolutely HAVE to get sorted. You can make excuses for multiple other positions (including ones we've already bought players for) but if we go into next season without a new RWB, you'd have to ask questions.

So yeah, I'm guessing there are credible alternatives if we're moving away from Spence

I really hope we’re not back to waiting on Inter to poo or get off the pot, those guys have terrible constipation.

At least the friendlies start next week, so will be a good distraction

I seem to be remembering Di Lorenzo being very good but quite defensive-minded and Italy struggled with their attack from the wings massively after Spinazzola got injured at the latest Euros as Di Lorenzo just couldn't get forward even remotely similar.
I found him quite similar to Emerson even, but I haven't seen much of Napoli lately so might be just for Italy. Anyone have a better view of him?

A. Madrid were/are in for him and they like a defensive rb

Move on from Spence. Gibson can go monkey fuck himself. What we never, ever want again is a ridiculous Berahino situation
