It depends what sort of loan it is though I would've thought. There have been various FFP avoidance schemes that are permanent transfers dressed up as loans due to compulsory purchase terms (Mbappé to PSG was one).I'm 99% sure I read just last week that Coutinhos agents said they would not allow him to go out on loan anywhere.
Only thing I'd say about Coutinho as an "eriksen replacement" is that they really aren't similar at all and in fact Dele is far more comparable to how Coutinho plays. I posted the below in the Coutinho thread some weeks back
