I was thinking that last year all we heard was the Grealish deal and it transpired we were actually more keen on De Jong, wonder if Lo Celso / Coutinho is a similar thing but I'd say that's over complicating it.

This is why we need to wait until deadline day to get mad or happy, right now I bet there's a lot of levy supporters feeling vindicated but it's still in the balance. Best to wait to cast judgement.

Yeah, I think none of us have the first clue whats happening and agree best wait til the end. I'm hopeful but that flip this afternoon in the itk was quite negative. Shame. Still here is hoping!

All if not most of the ITK this summer said we'd be happy come the end of the window.

If it transpires that the only other incoming is Sessegnon then the majority of us fans are not gonna be happy.

That mean that either the ITKs have been feed wrong info but more likely the transfer committee has failed to achieve its targets for the 3rd window running.

That is not good enough for a club that is where it is.

There is also the argument that even adding a replacement for the possible outgoing of Eriksen, its still not good enough.

Tbf ITK is very fluid and accurate only at the time given.
I think at one point GLC was more than odds on. Hercs nads, two in one out etc
But as we have since learnt goal posts have moved. And that optimism passed.
We can only take today’s ITK as the accurate and current picture.

I really wouldn't think the true original signature is needed to close the deal. Surely some of the directors below him can sign off the deals as long as Levy sanctions them.

It's amazing the different ways the same sentence can be read depending on pre-existing bias. I myself inferred that it's a loan because we can't afford anything else. Before anyone wades in with "record profits!", riddle me this: If the stadium cost £1bn and the loans are about £600m, where did the rest come from?*

Signs it off means authorising. Not literally signing it. Every business has delegated authorities for that. But he is the man who says yes to the whole deal...capiche?

Im literally lost on whats going on, who we are after, who we are selling and whats happening.

I was in full on meltdown yesterday and accepted that we were signing noone. Now im seriously considering putting Coutinho and Fernandes in my Fifa career mode. Why do i do this to myself every single time. Im such an ITK whore and im disgusted yet delighted with myself.
