I really hope Mystery is right but I've been told something different. I don't think Bale would have left the meeting fuming if he was happy to stay. But fingers crossed DL stands strong and Bale gets over it and gives us at least one more good season.

If he's singed new endorsements etc. then it's a done deal and he's staying. That's the boom boom info for me.

Just putting it out there but Mystery hadn't posted for over a year before last week when he said this

'Bale - I'm uncertain on the current situation with our star man. I'm a marketing man for agents etc, and haven't had any dealings with the Bale camp for well over a year, sadly!'

Within a week we've gone from that to M speaking as an authority on what Bale has done, hasn't done, and is or isn't going to do.

Not knocking him, just an observation.

Considering I think someone said he wasn't dependent on Bale leaving, it COULD and may happen if he forces AM to accept a lower fee as he doesn't want to go to Donetsk.

I believe anything is possible with this side. Get the defense sorted, and we are there.

I'm guessing 3 new defenders will be coming in; can't see us leaving LB and CB in the state it is with injuries.

If you could give a final position for the end of the upcoming season based on our first team and all the itk flying around, where would you be happy finishing. Even if bale were to stay Id still be very happy with 4th even though theres some part of me thinking we could still do better........I often think this but we have signed 3 top players and even if bale were to go im sure we would replace him with quality too

The reason I came back here is because I know in advance what new contracts I sign with companies/individuals. The contracts I sign are one off and not repeat work, and things change pretty fast. I'm not dealign DIRECT with the Bale camp, but on endorsements that involves the player
