surely the Caulker deal could have been held up pending the conclusion of our signings/ injuries clearing up. The monaco game was a farce and we should not have let that happen to our travelling fans.

'Bale - I'm uncertain on the current situation with our star man. I'm a marketing man for agents etc, and haven't had any dealings with the Bale camp for well over a year, sadly!'

Within a week we've gone from that to M speaking as an authority on what Bale has done, hasn't done, and is or isn't going to do.

Not knocking him, just an observation.

I have spent the weekend getting used to the idea that Bale is going and i'm coming to terms with it. I refuse to get all excited again and then have my hopes dashed.

I remember lying on my hotel bed whilst skiing in Jan 2012 following transfer deadline day on my phone when JJ posted Ryan Nelson. The most random, unexpected but accurate piece of ITK I have ever read.

As much as i want to believe all that Mystery and others are saying, I am sticking firmly in the Bale is going to leave camp and trust what JJ says.............I think this is the safest and least painful place to be

Could've been now or never for us to get circa £9m for our 4th choice cb,Cardiff must've had a "list" to work from.Just shitty luck as far as I'm concerned.
Thankfully,there's just enough time to sort this mess b4 the start of the season,it's shit luck but could've been worse.

The reason I came back here is because I know in advance what new contracts I sign with companies/individuals. The contracts I sign are one off and not repeat work, and things change pretty fast. I'm not dealign DIRECT with the Bale camp, but on endorsements that involves the player

Whilst I understand what you're doing, we'd rather people not speculate on ITKs sources in public. It either ends up with them having to justify themselves or getting annoyed because they're unable to. Trust me, the mods do a lot of this behind the scenes and if you think you have something useful to contribute we'd rather it was done privately by PMing one of us.

This isn't really directed at you, but it's just a general reminder not to speculate on where the info is coming from.

Risky move but I feel that us SC plebs, as seasoned purveyors of ITK, are entitled to do a little digging to see what things ITK's have got right or wrong in the past.
