I just really, really hope we get some serious ITK on Bernard, the kid looks quality and we really need a number 10 of his ilk in the squad. Should be a priority for AVB.

Doesn't matter if he's 5ft 4" tall, or 7ft 4" tall, he's still a player & still there to be kicked. If anything the fact that he's a 'footballer' would stand him in better stead. Rugby teams can't match teams that play 'football', I think Spain proved that against Holland in the World Cup etc?

I think someone said earlier that it would take a good while for Baldini to implement his strategy at the club when he joined, having to go through meetings, jostling for common ground etc etc. The point being missed is that the Baldini rumours started up at least six months ago, and we know he is close with AVB. On the day that Baldini walks into this club ( if it happens ), I fully expect by that point that every meeting of this ilk will have already taken place, and has most likely already taken place at this point right now. Phones are also handy things ! I would expect target lists and strategy to move into overdrive on the very day he joined.

But. Many here are doubting Levy's work. Yes he's irritating. But highly effective. And it seems most Liverpool fans get this completely. LOTS of good words about us, our transfer policy, our chairman's business sense and the way we've cracked open the top 5

Go on there, have a gander. It will make you feel superior just because you're not one of their (probably minority of) really rabid fans. But you might also get a less myopic, less emotionally clouded, outsider's view of our club, our chairman, and his strategy. And it's 99% positive
