How much did you win and how much are you donating? I will match your percentage from my league winnings.
I'll put in another £10 or £20 alittle later in the window. Put in £30 just now due to me being happily wrong about todays match. And after last night killing my wallett, I need to wait alittle bit to put more in. But I'll let you know how much I put in when I donate.(y)

While we're on the subject of donations don't forget to click on the Amazon banner on SC if you're going to buy anything at Amazon. I assume SC gets a % with the click through. I try to click through from here when I buy on Amazon. BTW you need to buy within 24 hours as Amazon's cookie only last that long. If you buy after 24 hours SC won't get their %.
Only Amazon UK though. Doesnt work here in the states.

Just watch people's expectations for January transfers rise after that result... ;-)

Kane's performance could not have been better timing. We cannot replace that lad, we cannot even push him around in the team or try to change his game to adapt to others. He has made the No 9 spot his own, and any further additions we make have to be second fiddle to him or have the versatility to play elsewhere.
Absolutely the post of this window.
If we buy anybody they have to fit in with Harry. So no Benteke for a start.

Well no doubt there is now a prime opportunity for some investment to improve the side. But we still need to get some players out before we can bring anyone in. And those players we need to get out have no one interested in them. So it shouldnt shock anyone when we have no arrivals this window.

A wide forward with some pace would complement Kane and Soldado best.

We've not really been linked with any of these except Rodriguez and Ayew

Today was one of those performances where you look at the Starting XI and the options off the bench and say "Do we really need anything?" It's a bit of a false dawn, but the team on the pitch performed so well together there wasn't much in regards to what you might improve upon.

It's truly not a bad squad, we've just put ourselves in a position to rely too much on cheap additions and as a result have plenty of deadweight. We do still have players that can win matches in the Starting XI and the types of talents that can transform a match as a substitute. I don't think things are as dire as some make it out to be. A couple of solid windows (with more outs than ins, so long as the ins are of better quality) and we could really transform the way we look at our expectations going into a season.

I still believe the midfield could use a player with a bit more "oomph" to pair with Bentaleb. In attack, a pacy wide player that could really give us some quality wing play and probably a striker that can replace Adebayor in the squad, but one that can be utilized mostly as an impact sub and valuable Cups/Europa league striker.

Our starting XI has a lot of quality and the fact that we are right in the hunt for top 4, above Arsenal and the Merseyside flops, is testament to that. What we need to make sure we have is competition at each position, with players that are smart, talented, motivated, and above all good fits for Pochettino's system. At the moment we have very few bench players who tick all those boxes - if we had an injury for a month or two we could be in serious trouble. Imagine if we'd had to play today without Jan, or Nabil, or Eriksen or the Hurricane. I don't think there's any way in hell we could have still got a result against the chavs.

So does today's chastising of the Chavs mean we will be able to attract better players in the window or is it a signal to the bald dwarf that all is well in the world and there's no need to get the cheque book out?

The cheque book was never coming out. Why do people do this to themselves every window? We'll make one or two signings of available players. If we're lucky, they'll be players that Poch wants who fit the system and strengthen us. If not they'll be more of the same.

Probably true. That said, Cabaye and Ings would make me a happy little thing. Not too high fees (because of contracts, age, requirements etc.), though Cabayes wages might be a problem. They might very well be available, and they'll offer valuable flexibility/cover/choices.

Actually the big thing that came out of the match was Mason's injury.

With Bentaleb also off to the ACN, we need to fasttrack getting the Rabiot loan sorted.
Probably nothing like that will happen as long as we still have Dembele, paulinho, Capoe and Stambouli on our books.
