25 knows the PL has won a trophy in England, 1 year left on his contract, room for improvement and adds a different dimension to our midfield. He'd be an OK signing if it comes off for the value we could get him at.

This transfer window is amazing.
We have bought in players who genuinely improve the first team.
I hope that it results in some outgoings as the squad feels a bit bloated and i hope Paratici and co are thinkong about the homegrown quota but we really are looking promising for the upcoming season.

What it means is we will have a squad and Conte will have options
Any team is ultimately only as good as the replacements when injuries, suspensions or lack of form hits
Still a way to go until all signed but Conte must see that he is being backed which is what he was asking for
The rest is then down to him to get the squad to perform

Very interesting. Good player and would give us something a bit different in the middle. I’m all for signing more players from the PL as they will fit in quickly.
If this means we won’t be signing another attacking option then I guess the plan would be to keep Sess and Reggi and Perisic can be cover as another attacking option if needed.
Intriguing this as to what the overall plan is then but I like it.
