Sounds like a drunken night out
You can get ointments for that now.

But getting in good wide men and maybe shifting Son centrally if needs be seems more easily done for us than getting a striker everyone is happy with.

Thanks again WLB for the info!
Hopefully we hear some ITK regarding a CB before the window closes but probably more likely we're left with Dav and Dier as backup

I really hope that this doesn't happen- after all the positives from the last few months this would be a real kick in the crutch

Great if we can get those deals done as I personally think attack will need strong options/rotation as lots of energy and pressing required in this system. But like most need to get some positive ITK and movement on a CB signing. It will be another disappointing window if Sanchez is are only viable back up option to injury/suspension on first choice CB pairing.

Luton have just bought a centre back today from Man U. Maybe they dont have the money?

Yeah I think this will be the case.

They also have 1 remaining loan slot from a prem club and have been looking to use this on either a St or cb. A club will typically pick up a player they wouldn't otherwise be able to afford - be it transfer fee or wages wise.

Luton is a good loan for him. He’ll just be expected to defend well 1v1 as they are quite a physical team and keep it simple on the ball. On paper I could see him doing alright there

That’s great but we shouldn’t be wanting a loan. He isn’t good enough for spurs and never will be, but should be worth a fee to someone.

Perhaps this is the only move he’s keen on that has emerged? We have no way of knowing what offers him or the club have on the table. He’ll have a year left on his deal at the end of this loan and hopefully he’ll have impressed and someone will be willing to take the risk.

He hasn't played nearly enough to attract a sale. He just needs a run of games and to avoid injury. Then we might get a sale.
