FFS. JJ can't post a thing without being bombarded with questions. it doesn't take a mental giant to figure out that he might be implying that there HAS BEEN recent contact over jenas and Bentley.

even if you're unsure, isn't that part of the fun? this is what I can't understand about itk. we gasp and plead for it, then soon as its posted, we pester for more information. surely if the itk wanted to post more, he would. god forbid that info might not come off (for whatever reason) as we then ridicule the poster, hounding them from ever posting more info. cant we just be thankful for some tittalating info and appreciate that it enlivens our day? yeah, yeah, i inow this will go over 80% of members' heads, but just had to get it all out. phew

Reading the previous three pages usually does the trick, as mentions of the day's highlights tend to be cyclical.

Yeah. I mean it's true that QPR don't have the same immediate ambitions as us, so even if they couldn't cut it for Tottenham in Harry's view, they could at QPR, but that is a terrible way to build the squad imo. He knows that these players don't have the potential to take them past mid table.I guess if you are Harry you plan on buying a whole new team every couple of years and think that is a reasonable thing to do, so maybe it doesn't matter as much to him.

We won't be choosy. I'd love if QPR took on some more overpaid, crap players. I'm still shocked that West Ham beat him to Joe Cole.

You're dead right, but I don't think he's interested in building a squad. He just has one objective: keep them up. Whatever happens next season (deadwood to shift, high wage bill etc) is probably somebody else's problem.

There's something I like about these daily itk threads at this kind of time. Whatever activity is left on the forum migrates here completely and we have a little insomniacs/people abroad gathering going on. We also are the small percentage of people who get to witness the death of yesterday's thread and see the birth of the thread for the new day, like the changing of the guard. I'm here to witness that sublime and mystical moment on many empty nights like tonight.

What are we going to do when the transfer window ends though, we have no where to go.

I disagree slightly, we seem to forget that Jenas and Bentley are decent players before they stopped playing for us or in one case even started playing for us, these players are good enough for what they want to do next season and that is most likely top half, problem is they havent played for 2/3 years no one wants to touch them especially given their high wages

That said Harry has gone in and the dressing room is said to reacted angrily to the claims that they arent good enough to be earning wages they are like Bosingwa on 65k pw, so I think he just wants to get players that want to play in imo

only 8pm here.. i always see the end and the beginning.. what i end up missing is about the 10th-30th/40th page activity. just to mostly see itk get rated and then dumbed down afterwards.

He intimated that Harry and Daniel chatted today about Bentley and Jenas.

So it seems the MRI that someone said was for defoe last week is true, as AVB has said he had one, so it must be serious and we seem to be using a controversial technique of blood spinning to help his recovery according to the Mail

Im guessing yesterdays MRI was for checking the reaction to the bloodspinning

We're in the same time zone then, I live in LA. I don't really mind missing the initial 7-8 hours of the thread, but I like waking up and checking the ITK section and seeing a lot of new itk posts. I'm very disappointed though if there's no new itk posted, sort of gets my day off to a bad start haha. This window has not been a fruitful one as far as itk goes.

So calm down. We need to be allowed to talk about these things.


But seriously, JJ is an actual person. He can't just come here and act like one though. Ryan or rebrab can come in and say "I didn't like the way Bale played in the 2nd half" and it would be taken at face value. If JJ tried to do that, we would overwhelm him with crazy requests. "are you saying that Bale is leaving" or "by 2nd half do you mean that AVB and Freund don't like Nick Park animation?". Sure, he's a fantastic source of information, but we have never allowed him to be a member of ort community by just letting him be. And which half of Spurs Community do you think that violates? So when he wants to be ITK let him be ITK. But FFS, let him be a goddamn miserable supporter like the rest of us too.
