Hmm, i don't think Inter signing a striker really tells us anything.

Didn't we think we were nailed on to sign Damiao in the summer because they signed Forlan?
Yep, and they probably are already looking at long term replacements for Forlan as he continues to deteriorate. It's a good thing for us that it didn't go well with his medical a few windows ago :ROFLMAO:

I still don't understand the TW. Is it a huge game of poker and see who caves in on the final day?
It's like having an impending deadline at work and rushing it through last minute; so nonsensical... I guess it's a culture that is so deeply embedded in the TW that it's hard to alter certain Chairmans approaches'.

Would I like it if we got our business done tomorrow instead and save the last minute rush? Probably.
Would I change Levy's ways and lose the excitement of deadline day? Probably not.

Just can't handle another 'last minute, not enough time' excuse.

I totally agree. It's a complete fucking nonsense.

But.

I genuinely believe that there is no other club in world football that gets to experience the transfer window to the extent that we do.

Soap opera for the lads. And we wouldn't miss it for anything.

COME ON LEVY LAD! (Just one time: we've all paid for 'handjob to climax' so, if you please...)

Damiao, Negredo...the papers think they know it all but Levy will be crying with laughter when he manages to sneak in Emile Heskey under the radar. As ridiculous as that sounds admit a little bit of you isn't thinking "no way, surely not........could he?!?"

The Diame bit in the Guardian was interesting to me with Allardyce saying words to the effect of 'he may or may not leave, its utter confusion at this point'. That tells me that there are clubs interested in Diame, but that they have not made their final move yet. Is it just Arsenal, or is it Arsenal and us ? If its both of us, why haven't we made a formal move and completed the deal yet ? Is it because we are looking at something else and Diame is the back-up ?

Not pissing on the parade but...

I've heard many a name the past few weeks for QPR. And amazingly I'd say my QPR info is now better than my spurs ever was, but anyways, jenas and Bentley have not got a mention

Have you spoken to Daniel or Harry today though ;)

So, is it pretty much widely expected that in order for us to bring in one of the strikers we have been linked with, we need to get 2 of the following 3 off the wage bill: Hudd/Jenas/Bentley?

Just kind of curious, and I obviously wouldn't be in tears if any left permanently/on loan.

If Levy somehow manages to shift both Jenas and Bentley in the same transfer window I will consider this our most successful transfer window and that Levy is a fucking GOD. :)

I have to agree. A striker as well would be the "cherry on top" but just to get those massive waste of funds off the wage bill would be such a big boost when looking towards the summer window.

How come JJ posts so late at night? Does the man ever go to sleep or is he constantly kept awake by his phone going off during the night with a text from his source saying Levy has got out from bed to take a late night piss, meaning Damiao to Tottenham is bound to happen. :)

The thing with Harry is that had he not been our manager, he would of taken in Bentley a long time ago, I think when he was with us, he didnt want to take the players with issues and try to revive their careers

I can hear the commentators now ''The degree of difficulty on that maneuver was of immense proportions, this should be 10's all round!''

Oops. I messed up on the post I wanted to quote from.

Unknown what POTL does but he has had info directly from the dressing room before so either he's very close or someone he knows very well is very close to the team in some capacity

Harry is getting desperate it seems...surely the QPR money men smell a rat?

I'll be glad for both players if they get moves, Jenas especially got a lot more stick and less credit than he deserved.

We demand loyalty from players but only the ones we like it seems.

Bentley was always an odd signing especially at that price. In 5 or 10 years he'll look back and regret a wasted opportunity. His career isn't over but he could've been so much more. He didn't have the right mentality in the same way Jenas didn't have the strength of character.

If I had to hazard a bet, JJ is an Aussie or lives there.
