Suggests that maybe our 'bid' that everyone is getting their penises in a twist about might not have happened in quite the same way as the always truthful West Ham chairmen said.

At the time, I did wonder why they bothered releasing a statement at all and thought maybe Parker wanted the move and it was a bit of arse covering but surely they wouldn't score such a massive own goal?

I think trying to work out what West Ham are doing based on what a normal team would do is futile.

Well, in England, away to Stoke or Blackburn, they would probably fail miserably.... Spain, with two good teams is one thing, England on the other hand is quite different! They would look average on many occations
