So playing devils advocate - Paulinho to Chelski in return Torres and £10M enabling Soldado to go back to Spain for £15M. Then using that money to get Schiederling. OR
Paulinho to Man U for straight up £25M?

atlanta yid with an update in the 'watch the news' thread:
Fazio looks like its all but done
Townsend to Southampton may have some legs as part of a swap deal for MS
Soldado might be offski if we can get a decent price for him
I really thought Soldado was going to be the man for Poch, but early days are suggesting it is Adebayor. I don't think we could properly replace him this window, I hope he sticks around.

You've got to think we are in for an attacker if we are open to dealing Townsend and possibly Soldado.
I think Kane might have surprised Poch with his showings thus far but I can definitely see us looking at a Rabiot or Martial to provide some impact off the bench.

Gut feeling or not, I just think there's a left field move from us in this transfer yet that could cause a few waves ala van der Vaart and I'm looking squarely at Isco here.

I honestly don't know why people keep writing Adebayor off, he is 1 of the top strikers in World football. I don't think people appreciate what we have.

ManU for cash out of those two options

I think it's probably a deal that appeases Levy - big money move for an ageing player and with signs that he won't be first choice for Poch then if we can jettison him for decent dough then I can see Levy being very keen.

I'll caveat that by saying I'd keep him but of course, that might depend who we potentially line up as a replacement.

Soldado won't go. We would've had some ITK on buying a new central striker if he was.

The Townsend-MS stuff on the other hand :woot::woot::woot:

I feel like the only players we've really been linked to (by ITK) is Jay Rodriguez and Memphis Depay. Both seem unlikely at this point.
Depay signed a new contract and was ruled out by almost every ITK...so yeah that won't happen.

Straight choice between the two and Ade wins hands down he is a class above, I'm pretty sure Pochottino knows that too plus he's been on his game since he came back into the team.

So dawson gone and potentially townsend out the door, maybe bobby n paulinho as well....how does our HG quota stack up then? If schneiderlin and wellbeck come in with fazio we will be 1 foreign player down and status quo for HG quota wont we?
