Here's your thread for the discussion of all things ITK.

Yesterday I watching TV with my grandson and the little kids outside kept smashing their ball into my garden and knocking over all the plants.

I said to him "I know what i'd like to say but i'd better be a bit diplomatic seeing as they are so young…..Go and tell them if that ball comes in the garden again i'll keep it"

He strolls to the door and shouted "If that ball comes in here again, i'll go to your house and the only balls you'll be seeing are mine slapping against your mum's arse".

That's my boy.

Any clue on Dawson's fee? Some have said 8m, others 3m.

If there's been (very recent) ITK on a player then telling us he's having a medical is OK, but NOT if there's no source qouted. If there hasn't been ITK on that player then such news goes into that players thread.

It's been a very quiet bank holiday weekend with an odd rumour now and then but nothing too new so I think it's going to be a quiet week with lots going on behind the scenes.

Always hoping for a surprise in the final day or 2, preferably with the incoming, that's always preferable to an outgoing surprise!

nothing much groundbreaking going on in the itk world. this is all ive found

trix: Like I said he's[poch] happy to keep him[townsend], but wouldn't be too bothered if he is sold. Remember poch works with him every day, and he'll know if he has the capacity to basically learn another position or not. 1 goal(and that was a fluke) in 25+ apps last season is hardly a pointer that he could go on to be a good goal scorer.

ali z: Trix is the man spot on everytime.
Issue with Townsend are many, club happy to keep him but if we can do a deal we want will let him go, thing is he is not great at carrying out instructions, Lennon although never scoring enough is loved by all managers for doing what is asked btw despite his appalling return he is in top 10 premiership goals for us.

If it's true, doesn't surprise me to hear Townsend isn't great at taking instructions on board. He's often struck me as trying too hard to do something outstanding to get himself in the team, instead of just being an effective team player.

I still think he has a lot of potential and hopefully that's the kind of thing Poch can snap out of him.

You mean Townsend hasn't been specifically instructed under three managers to shoot on site when within 40 yards of goal...
