Cannot believe Mata could be the stellar signing. It just makes no sense. Frankly, I'd swap Bale for Mata and Lamela in a heatbeat, but I cannot fathom how that could be possible. I'm also tempted to say in my opinion £100m + Hernandez is such a monster deal that even though its Utd.... I guess it seems that Bale doesn't fancy Moyes much though.

I still thinks Real is short of 40 m to conclude the deal. Unless they move Ozil for 40m cash.....

Rooney isn't worth that kind of money. Gareth is.if we are willing to pay bale 280k a week plus image rights and all that and he declines then fair enough but on same scale then we would be more than able to pay rooneys wage so sell bale and get rooney in and build side around him and make him loved .
im sure united wud sell to us before they would to chelsea and arsenal. possibly

And we've got alternatives (Eriksen, Llajic, probably some others that Baldini has scouted in his long, long career), why not at least try for the big fish when we've a) got money and b) got time to find someone else should it go tits up?

rooney delivering assists goals and serious work rate for years.. his rep might have falling but i find it silly and amazing people writing him off. Look what he did at swansea and he done nothing all pre season. Rooney is class and if he does leave united for rival, that rival will go very very very close to title. He is different class .
i love bale and he brings so much and is only going to get better . All im saying is if he wants out, get rooney to compensate. He can be just as effective as bale

Guys, wake up, neither Rooney nor Mata will be coming to Spurs. Utd and Chelsea are not daft and they will not be selling players of that quality to other clubs in the PL.

Rooney was made up. The BBC reported we had enquired about Mata. They then changed the article to read a Chelsea player.
