Here we go again you chumps and once again we've tweaked how we roll.

Below are the details. Read them please, because if you don't, well, consequences

ITK DISCUSSION THREAD

We've tried to make it as simple as possible.

• Is it a real media company (BBC, L'Equipe, etc)?
• Is it a real person (a known journalist, a recognised ITK, etc)?

If it is, it can go in this ITK Discussion Thread.

Take a look in the ticker if you're not sure. @chrissivad is doing an excellent job in summarising the sources.

Anything else is pretty much some bloke on the internet copying/pasting from one of those or making it up. Those sort of things can go in the player thread if they really must but there's not much point posting them in here.

Twitter:

• Whether it's twitter or not is kind of irrelevant with the new rules. It's more, is the source a decent one?
• If it's a person or a real media company (AllyGold, Romano, BBC Sport, L'Equipe, etc) then post it, whether that's a link to their twitter or whatever.
• What we don't want is all the bullshit aggregator accounts or the wums who pretend to know something for attention. Go find the source they're quoting and post that instead .

Negativity

A lot of negativity was dragging everyone down last time and we want to prevent that happening again.
With that in mind, the discussion in here should be specific to the ITK. It's not a place to have a big rant constantly, using every single event to complain about Levy or whatnot.
If someone is being constantly negative their Ratings will reflect that and if it gets flagged to us enough times, we might will remove their access to the thread.

The usual other rules apply (images etc). Follow the rules. Remember that the transfer forums are moderated differently to the rest of the site.

SC's policy is to try not to get heavy handed and ban people unless we have to.

My policy however is nowhere near as patient

They are saying both Bremer and Gabriel Jesus are high on our list. However, Arsenal have been in deep discussions with Gabriel Jesus so he's expected to go there and it's believed Inter are favourites for Bremer.

It's going to get busy in here me thinks. Our announcement yesterday will mean we'll be linked to every player that's available by their agent. Ideally need to keep to most reliable sources only.

Wanted to thank the mods for managing the pre-window threats so well. The scouting one is an excellent thread with insight, good media links and strong debates. I hope this thread continues in the same vein.

At the same time a reminder that those player discussions can now go into the player specific threads. But the Spurs Chat threads have been excellent - so a thank you to all posters.

I was worried that now the season is over i'd actually have to do some work. But thankfully the ITK section is open which quickly put an end to that notion.

watched city a fair few times this season, definitely a very good prospect there but not yet ready for PL, another season at Bristol would be best for everyone imo

• Spurs will look to make a move for Filip Kostic. Should be cheap as he's in the last year of his deal. Confident a deal can be done
• Forster should be announced soon
• Conte and Paratici like Alessandro Bastoni and it seems he is the top target for CB but it will be a tough/expensive deal to do. Lots of names on the LCB list
• Spurs like Alex Scott (no, not the BBC presenter), 18-year-old midfielder from Bristol City. Maybe buy and loan back
• Kane is very excited about everything that is going on. Not thinking about moving from Spurs at all, purely focused on winning trophies with Spurs. Loves Conte, may be open to a new contract if ambition continues
• Bulk of £150m will go to summer transfer window. 'Pretty much all of it', as well as player sales, CL revenue
• Scarlett and Devine likely to go out on loan next season. Had some offers from Championship sides but League One will likely be better for their developments
• Thinks a fair few signings will be done before the pre-season tour

Maybe off topic in here but are we going to have a scouting/player discussion thread elsewhere? That was the best thread on the entire site in my opinion

Agree and a fair few of the knowledgeable posters in that thread are banned from the transfer section, so we miss their input on players.

Would be nice to have a thread that everyone can get involved in, or maybe even some kind of ban amnesty (?) because this is gearing up to be one of the most intriguing windows ever and it would be nice for everyone to be involved.

True, but on the flip side the novelty will wear off quickly and we'll probably have an uneventful window for the rest of it, with negative energy for not treating August like an advent calendar of signings.
