Norwich bidding for RvW is crazy and surely with us being in need of a striker you would think we might try. ( sorry tried to reply in player thread but says I can't)

RvW being the bloke from Sporting? If true and if they actually get him, Levy has well and truly lost it and needs to pull some miracle to redeem himself else be flamed ...

Why do people assume players like RvW is good enough.. I'm not convinced.

I dont believe either of them players would take us to the next level. Maybe i just have high standards but i believe,in my opinion, i dont think their good enough! I know you'll probably state DF is at man u but i take them as my bench mark. What players we have that are good enough for their first team. Last season we had a plenty. This season im not so convinced!

I was talking about their shit.

I think it is the idea of not taking chances. I remember when Ba was on the market after West Ham and for cheap. But reports came out about bad knees. What did he do? Bagged many and still is.

The list goes on with players that have come into the league that we surely could capitalize on and have taken zero interest.

Michu, Hernandez (swansea), Suarez (not cheap but proven and now look at him) and the list goes on.

Neither is hooper but that is the sort of crap we may end up with

Never a half way house. A player is either world class or crap. I have not seen Hooper play but I can guarantee he is not world class but neither is he crap as you so eloquently put it. I would guess he is a decent player who is improving and may be someone who would improve further if he played alongside better players.

And yet when we're linked with taking a chance on Hooper, most people complain
