Right who are we gonna sign?

Since the Bentley years we've signed these players in these contexts:

2013:
Holtby: Free out of contract in summer, bargain
Fryers: Out of contract, holiday in Holland for a few months, bargain
2012:
Dempsey: Known to want to leave club, bargain
Dembele: Release clause, haha!, bargain
Sigurdsson: Seemingly uinwanted by parent club, bargain
Adebayor: Definitely unwanted by parent club, bargain
Lloris: Possibly touted out by parent club (ITK suggested this), bargain
Vertonghen: Last year of contract, club cashed in, bargain
Nelson: Free, bargain
Saha: Free, bargain
2011:
Parker: Club relegated, player wanted out, bargain
Adebayor: Loan, club wanted out, bargain
Friedel: free, bargain
2010:
Van der Vaart: Unwanted by parent club, bargain
Sandro: just a bargain (OK this one doesn't fit the bill)
Pienaar: Contract running down, bargain
(Khumalo and Plietkosa ?)
2009:
Crouch: Portsmouth probably owed us something, bargain
Bassong: OK philosophy wasn't cast in stone yet.
Walker/Naughton: Buy one get one free? BARGAIN

Year before that we laid out a fortune.

So. Any bargains out there this week?

If you count Gudjohnsen, we've bought or loaned an attacker nearly every transfer window. Can't let the tradition fail now.

When I say "Body of a striker" - I mean someone to make up the numbers i.e. Rasiak and Saha. Daniel will answer a question with a riddle.

Harry: Who is replacing Pav as the 4th striker
Daniel: Saha
Harry: You're shitting me!!!???

BMJ: We need someone to come on and offer something different
Daniel: Rasiak
BMJ: Who???

I feel like I've walked into a Twin Peaks script writing session

Negredo: Sevilla need to sell because of financial issues, bargain
Diame: release clause, bargain
Sissoko: out of contract in the summer, bargain
Soldado: Valencia in deep financial shit, will be a bargain if they decide he's a player to cash in on
Llorente: highly unlikely, but as he's out of contract in the summer it would be a bargain

So yeah, I understand why we've been linked to these players.

We just have to be sniffing around Negredo to a certain extent at least . We've been in for him before as well, when his valuation was higher. All the coordinates make sense, and I expect us to monitor the situation and pounce when we sense Sevilla are weakening.

Was Keane actual cash? I always though he just wiped away debts owed by LFC.

That doesn't seem right to me. More like easy use of number as to not confuse. All transfers are paid in installments, thus Liverpool had never paid us the full amount. I imagine they had paid 7 million (a third, which seems common). I can't imagine Levy gave them money. As I remember the two idiots who owned them at the time didn't have a pot to piss in and needed to get rid of Keane just to cover their asses and Levy only took him back to save his investment. This is where SS57 would be helpful. :(

I wouldn't worry too much about SS57, Happy. He often goes AWOL for weeks at a time, and usually pops up saying "been fishing."

Coming in here to bith and moan about the bitching and moaning has only resulted in more bitching and moaning.

If you have a better solution to how this part of the forum should be run send me a PM. i will have a look over them and will bring up any good ideas to the rest of the mods/admins

and your all getting a time out as well to calm the fuck down

Fuck all wrong with it, the set up is perfect. If I only want to know the ITK I go to the ticker or RO. I come here for the discussion and the banter, mostly the banter if I'm honest, it can be a far more engaging read than going through a dozen different posters all repeating each other just so they can be heard.
The arguing is also a healthy thing, in the right spirit. It makes for far more stimulating reading when differences of opinion are expressed.

Mods need to change nothing, apart from the accessibility to the 'constantly dissatisfied' perhaps?

Whose Coulibaly going to anyway? Is it his old club?

Siena have been promoted to Serie A since he left; I kind of doubt that they want an 18 year old to lead their line. Personally I'd rather see him at a decent Serie B club where he can play every week rather than benchwarming at a better club.

Spurs are all about the Dutch League. Didn't someone say Levy is still pissed he missed out on Suarez. That is where we should all be looking as it is known he wants to move for Erikson and Alderweireld. Players from here and Belgium adopt quickly and are much cheaper than English players with good English.

Bony is an option (IMO not ITK)

Indicating your three other posts today are? Can you clarify that, please, mate?

The last time we saw you a week ago, you told us you were:

Stockers said:
just a fan with no insight on inside Spurs knowledge

If that's changed, that's great. Can you send a PM to myself or any of the other Mods helping us keep track of where you're getting the info (who your agent friends are and why they now know about Spurs are, or whether this info is from another source)? It's going to be hectic in here for the next week, so it's important we know the quality of any info that is being treated as ITK.

Much appreciated.

Ironic that we get ITK when no **** is online to talk about it...

So apart from the bitches still using dial-up who can't read through 30 pages and still don't realise there's an ITK ticker, and Dan Ashcroft reincarnating as Stockers, did everyone have fun last night?

That lad from Watford is highly rated by the fans, but I guess it's difficult to tell when you watch at a lower level, Dos Santos would have looked a good player for Watford.

Soldado, Jonas and Costa would be absolutely mad!
