The wild thing is, considering the state of the squad, even if we brought in Zaniolo and Porro I’d be underwhelmed by the window if we don’t get anyone else.

The squad is beyond underwhelming. Two players won’t fix the issues. Especially as one will probably not even be a starter. I meant it would feel like a disappointing window even if we got both Porro and Zaniolo. Which is crazy as they are two exciting players.

We are very confident of completing deals for both Zaniolo and Porro. I personally feel both will get done. Zaniolo is a player Conte has wanted for some time so rest assured he will be delighted if we get him in. Porro is someone he also likes a lot. It would be a slight compromise on his part but he would still be very happy with it and he's an incredible upgrade on what we have and he feels he has enough to work with.

I’m genuinely so curious to know who it was he really wanted. I just don’t believe it was Dumfries and aside from Hakimi (who we would never get so pointless) I can’t think of who he’d want.

I feel with 1 CB and a GK we'd be able to see the season out. I think with better players either side of Dier they'd be able to cover the calamity and Perisic will be able to see season out with a GK not throwing it in his net every game

Thanks Hotspur, unfortunately we need more than them now. A center back, left back and Goalkeeper Are pretty much mandatory if we are going to take a serious shot at top 4.

Definitely a CB AND GK, don’t think the keeper will be solved this window. I don’t think LWB is a priority right now though

If we got a couple of decent CBs you’d hope Hugo would chill out a bit more. Must be like herding cats for him - no wonder his brain is fried.
