Why would the British media report it in the Ukraine? I'm calling bullshit on this one.
same way British papers cite Marca as a source. Everyone knows Kono is out of contract, the Dnipro site is just rounding up rumours about their players. He'd be a good signing though, we miss proper pace so desperately.

Dnipro midfielder and national team of Ukraine Yevhen Konoplyanka has reached a preliminary agreement with Tottenham about the transfer. According to the British press, the Spurs could announce the signing of Ukrainian early as next week, after the final of the Europa League.

It was after the match against Sevilla Linnet sign a contract with the club, according to British media. However, the decision could affect dozens of Dnipro victory in the final of the Europa League and the release of his team in the Champions League group stage. In this case, the Linnet may extend its current agreement with the team Miron Markevich.

Again, not transfer related but more insight into our future plans:

Atlanta Yid on COYS:

What I do know is that Joe Lewis is a HUGE NFL fan he has tried to but to NFL teams in the past and has been turned down.

The main reason that he was turned down had something to do with how much he likes to gamble on the game.

The NFL does not take to kindly to gambling on sports when you are part of the game.

That being said Joe wants and has tried to get the NFL franchise in London he has been working on this deal for a long time.

He not only feels like it would be a great opportunity for him to own another sports team but it would grow the brand of Tottenham Hotspur.

As for the profit of the club all the money that ENIC invested in the club has been made back in terms of profit the club makes money for all of its share holders.

The club has always been run like a business and always will be. If Joe decided to sell the club tomorrow every penny would come in the way of profit.

I think what they are saying is that he has agreed to sign for spurs, unless Dnipro win the Europa in which case he might stay, or go.....so basically they haven't a clue.

Thank goodness Joe Lewis has already made back all the money he's invested. I was really concerned for a moment that a tiny portion of the hundreds of millions he pockets from selling the club wouldn't be profit. So relieved right now.

Every owner is in for profit though? some way or another. Even Abromovaic and City owners are making money off the name they have put out there now, even if the football club make a loss. What is everyone's views on NFL team using our stadium?

I'd rather a happy profitable owner than say a dream team of Ken Bates and Peter Ridsdale.

and when he eventually decides to sell (hopefully soon), the buying club won't have to pay off hundreds of millions in debt... makes us a much more attractable proposition.

Matt Ryan would be awesome.

Finally ITK Gods have listened to me. I am sure general perception would be - why bother signing a Aussie goal keeper from Belgian league. Believe me, he has world class potential.

After he joined Brugge, the club has only gone upward. For 2 seasons he has won the Belgian GK of the year award (2014 & 2015) & he almost singlehandedly kept Dnipro at bay in EL Quarters.

IMO, he has better distribution skills than Lloris; Like Lloris, very quick on his feet & helps out high line defense. Liverpool are in for him it seems. But I really hope we go get him.

I just want to back this up. He has just kept improving since he signed for Brugge - improved more than most people were expecting. Also, his distribution is exceptional, absolutely first class, if you are unsure.... find the youtube video floating about, you won't regret it.

I still have concerns over his height but I think for what else he can offer I'd still take the punt
