What we have to remember is that these isn’t a huge amount of money in the European leagues, so transfer fees and wages become an issue for fringe players. Whilst we can make it clear they have no role here, finding a new home becomes a tricky one - Lloris being a great example.Great information. Thanks
Regarding outgoing we are simply not aggressive enough at moving people on. Lloris, for example,was left behind for the Far East tour so he could arrange a transfer yet over 3 weeks later there is no news of him moving. We continue to allow players surplus to requirements to linger around for far too long. I don’t buy the argument that they are in too high a wage for other teams to be interested in buying as we are renown for paying less than other big clubs. It always seems to me to be a lack of drive from the club to move them out.
If there’s no market for our outcasts, we can’t get rid.
