Just hope the Kane replacement(s) is lined up otherwise we'll be looking at price hacks. Must now get the best centre backs too.

Well yes and no. We are looking to bring another in as it does seem Harry is off. We really do like Orban. Also, Silva from Benfica is another we really like, I think he would be a top signing. He's only 19 but our defence could be sorted for years to come. Would cost a good chunk of money however.

silva plays a lot like ramos did in his early years, would be phenomenal if we managed to get him, would be a massive coup. ( work with a Portuguese guy) massive benfica fan and says he’s the best player to come through their ranks in years! And when you think of the players they’ve had, that’s some praise.

A spurs without Kane is going to take some getting used to. Woke up to find no midnight bbc banners on my phone and had the smallest bubble of hope as I logged in to SC only to have it well and truly popped by all the ITK. Whilst I appreciate the effort I don’t like the info and I think it will take many years to come to terms with just how lucky we were for 10 years to have such a talent. I hope he goes on to win the CL and get the fulfilment he’s after. As for replacements I don’t see the point in going after one this year as it will be like moyes following fergie. No chance of living up to the recent memories no matter what they do. Stick with richi for now, let him take the hit and focus on youth for the future.

I’ve got no problem thinking of Spurs without Kane. Then again I’m older than 16.

This really is the best that we could have hoped for other than the obvious renewal of contract.

big money, gone to a club we won’t likely meet for a season or two and a new manager who doesn’t have the headache and pressure of giving Kane every free kick and 90 mins of football.

god save the king. Long live the king
