I'd be more concerned that it's only 2.45pm and you've already been to the bog twice

Beer Poo ;)

Keeping it on topic. Encouraging news. Seems things are moving in the right direction. RS seems to come out of nowhere. Great prospect for the future if we can get his signature.

When I was young, "Parade" was a gentleman's magazine found in every barber's.

Does Greyfox's ITK mean everything has gone tits up?

I'm not very good with cryptics.

Who: Grey Fox
When: 17th August
Where: SC

No conversation, but just had a text "RS still on going ;) Parade on Sunday?" My opinion don't think the parade is necessarily for RS*

*I'm assuming this is Sessegnon - A&C

Grey Fox RO update

My take is that could apply to more than one signing. Promising on Sessegnon too, really want him.

Credit to RO post please.

CRYPTIC SOLVED! :)(y) It´s clear as daylight that what the old, grey fox is referring to is the Rythmic Sportive gymnastics Parade which is going to be the half time entertainment on Sunday - to celebrate the kickoff at Wembley. If @Grey Fox had been a younger and more up to date fellow, he would´ve known that it´s just called Rythmic Gymnastics these days...:bookworm:

There now follows, twenty six pages of posts on the meaning of the word 'parade'

Members of the 'whogivesafuck' cult have already seen it for what it is, an indication that we might be making an announcement very soon. that's all that should be taken from this, not what 'parade' means.

Remember, whogivesafuck. The cult that only wants your friendship.

And bank account details :cautious:

Unless 'parade' is a cryptic!

Closed last home game of the season at the Old WHL with a sentimental gesture. Start 1st home game of the new season at Wembley with another sentimental gesture. I can live with that! (y)

I guess people just ignore the question mark over the phrase "parade on Sunday?"
All they're saying is that a deal is very close and should be completed by Sunday.

There is nothing 'funnier' than pretending to make a normal sentence from an ITK into a cryptic with a 'hilarious' answer which usually consists of 'were signing Ronaldo or Messi' or something completely random. I never get tired of reading them....

Think maybe our squad thinning may have helped hugely here, suddenly Sessegnon sees Sissoko starting and thinks he can grab a spot, at least in our 18. If he gets intermittent starts for us this season he'd be an outside bet for the WC Squad, where as he'd need to be phenomenal in the Championship.

If Poch really wants him then Levy must get an offer accepted IMO (£35m rising from £15m, winning prem and CL winning being chunks, and high appearances 150-200-250-300, assuming the £50m stance is true).

Levy is never paying £50m for a player that has never played in the prem before. NEVER EVER.

Not that I actually think we're signing him anyway. He signed a pro contract because he wants to play for Fulham this year.

Or because he knew his worth but didn't want to screw the club who nurtured him over.
