You forgot the word "aged" after Paolo.

Made me chortle...

I don't know how many times it has to be said, but buying a player is not easy. Its similar to house buying, you cant just walk of the street and buy a house and then move in. And you cna only buy what is on the market at the time.

As I said on another thread, we haven't missed out on any striker this summer as no striker we would want has moved to the UK or moved within or to the prem league. Vucinic was a target but didn't want to move to the UK, the only striker we could of got was Wickham. Rossi/Adebayor/et al haven't moved. We can't conjure up transfers.

I was hoping for 2 strikers, a winger, central midfielder and central defender - all top drawer obviously and to get rid of 8 or 9. Perhaps my expectations were a bit high in the first place.....

Yeah...perhaps!

35m for Carroll
20m for Henderson

Sensible ? Seriously ? All they've done is apply the ManC philosophy to a pair of shit****'s.[/q

Ok when i say sensible i mean an offer which is acceptable to the selling club.

ok Downing, Carroll, Adam and Henderson might not be wanted by the top 4. Enrique is a good signing and Suarez is going to be a top signing

Right now I see Liverpool finishing above. Our whole club has a negative feel about it right now and unless things chnage dramatically i can see this being reflected on the pitch

If they finish above us it won't be purely down to Squad, as theirs is definitely not superior to ours. They do work harder though, and play as a cohesive unit. They defend better.

Nevermind the fact that both those players are young and English and it's yet to be seen how well they do for Liverpool...Carroll was through Torres money along with Suarez and we've seen that English players seem to hold their values if they do well enough. Time will tell if that money was well spent, at least Liverpool are addressing their issues promptly...I hope the two of them turn out to be dodgy Comolli rather than good. I fear Andy Carroll will end up a very good player.

Friday Feeling, an advert by Crunchie.

Are we really signing Kevin McAllister?

And we're talking about getting rid of players before we buy, if all this shit is to be believed we've things lined up waiting for people to leave etc.

Remind me again which of the top 5 from last season has yet to make a major signing? You think Liverpool don't have deadwood? Citeh?

We'd be going into tomorrow with the same squad and a goalkeeper near enough if it wasn't for some guy getting shot, in light of our recent faffing about during the past windows, would you all expect that from the start of the window or not?
