We seem to working on Neville as well & I'm guessing that might be fair way along as Harry's been talking about it in the papers.

Could count Steven PienI as well.

I have a funny feeling that Keane wont be going anywhere this window...

Loan.

I think it was mentioned a few days ago that it's with a view to a permanent deal, £8m. I doubt Bentley would go there permanently, though, regardless of whether we want him to or not.

Thoroughly disappointing signing and not an unexpected disappointmemnt either, never rated him that highly.
Hopefully with a space freed up in the 25 man squad we can start to hope for a signing and hopefully Keane will free up another spot

This isn't ITK but does anyone know anything about Oscar Cardozo? availability etc. We were rumoured to be interested in summer weren't we? Just seems to have gone quiet, not even the standard re-hashed, lazy media stories.

I suspect we may be holding off with letting Birmingham take Bentley until the Beckham deal is completed. In a similar way, I suspect the Suarez deal is held up until Keane and/or Giovani leave. The new registration rules make signing players mid season more complicated.

Yeah just saw it, cheers Chris.

Now that it is, a big thanks as ever to Ryan. Not distraught if Pienaar escapes our clutches. The Neville thing isn't thrilling, regardless of how well he's played Bale. Would far prefer we keep the current two right backs and if one is to leave in the summer, we have Walker hopefully coming in off the back of a successful half season with Villa. Unless we plan to sell both our current right backs by the time summer hits, bringing in Neville now makes little sense to me.

As for Suarez, he's one of those who I'd be happy to sign but not upset to miss out on. I think he'd improve us, perhaps to the extent that we need improving, but I also think there might be better options. Still, I won't be getting my knickers in a twist either way.

Cheerio Dave?

Looks like the long and drawn out talks with Iaquinta have come to an unsuccessful close.

Neville in for Corluka would be a bad move.

Sounds like Ajax are going to be hard work over Suarez.

How depressing.
