jurgenthegerman is, like Pablo, an ITK through links within the football media. That means any info he gains is something that's in the public domain or just about to be - the times he's been right have been newspaper headlines the next day.

If we're being careful with a particular deal or two and trying to arrange things on the quiet, we will be very careful not to reveal it to the media, so it's not surprising to me that JTG thinks we're not doing anything. The ITKs closer to the club have repeatedly told us that's not the case, so I'm not reading too much into this one.

Would defnately be easier for us to make up our minds if we knew the type of contact each itk has. Media, club insider, agent, player etc etc.

Agree, can you imagine the scenario:

Without being critical of the recent ITK, I too cant believe that the Club would allow one deal (even though its Beckham) to compromise their efforts in improving other areas of the squad - if business is possible to do.

It just smacks of amateurish - which Levy certainly isn't it, so personally I wouldn't place too much stock in that assertion.

As much as I love to read the itk information I still don't think you can beat a surprise modric style signing where the first thing we know about it is a photo.

Id love in the next two weeks to see some spy shots of of Daniel levy walking down the beach hand in hand with Torres or snapped with eto after being caught pushing in front of disabled kids at the queue at Thorpe park.

Daniel levy and phil Neville snapped in a pie and mash shop could b a disaster!

I think the conversation is likely to go more like this

Harry waiting outside Levy's office, waiting for green light to go in. Gets green light, inserts the pound coin necessary for door to unlock itselfs (generating a healthy profit from the office door).

Harry: "No Daniel, I said I wanted to discuss a new striker"
