Not sure if its been mentioned but noise by a few supposed ITKs on twitter that the player at the lodge tonight is Malcolm Ebiowei. Seen us linked to him loosely in recent months so could make sense.

And i'm really sure it's been mentioned (many, many times) that this kind of 'source' is exactly what NOT to post in here.

Hot on the heels of each other today we've had to delete a number of posts containing links that aren't for this thread, posts that should be in the players threads or the outright bullshittery "mods please delete if not allowed" (you know full fucking well it's not)

The rules aren't that hard to follow and you all know this thread and part of the site is moderated differently. We're trying to be relaxed over it these days but bloody hell, there are limits, so don't rip the piss out of it.

So this either stops or there'll be a return to what I call 'The good old days' when the banstick gave free love.

I wonder if he's still on the cards because it's all getting a little muddled as to who we're recruiting and their responsibilities. Clearly a structure is being implemented.

If the club is being prepped for a sale, why waste the effort on appointing new staff who may not be required by a new administration?

Yeah I think so. He is going to be head scout though - so not linked to any of these new announcements.

I've worked for two businesses which have been through multi-million £ takeovers; both did exactly the same things leading up to sale - hire aggressively, increase the payroll, appoint new senior leaders into both existing and new posts.

Wasn't his title going to be assistant performance director, so that would tie in with a performance director being recruited

I incorrectly assumed Scoulding was Paratici's No.2. Seems as if he's going to be assistant performance director to Steinsson, who is performance director.
