I just came across this article (albeit Gooner related) and was stunned at the current line up on the Ajax Coaching staff.
Frank De Boer is the current head coach and he is assisted by not only his brother (Ronald) but also Jaap Stam, Wim Jonk, Edgar Davids, Brian Roy, Marc Overmars and Dennis Bergkamp! The amount of caps and honours between these guys is unreal and to see them all staying in the game is fantastic.

For some reason I doubt we will ever see a coaching line up like that in this country

errrr excuse you. Sherwood, Sir Les, Jamie Redknapp, Clive Allen.

don't really compare talent wise to the Ajax coaches, but I agree its good to see ex-English players stay in the game

with the money todays player's earn that will happen less and less

There are quite a few more coaching the youth teams. Edgar Davids is also a member on the Ajax advisory board led by Johan Cruyff himself and once Hiddinks adventure with Turkey has ended he will become one of the Directors.

The Technical Director post will be filled soon by Marco van Basten, while Van Gaal is part time overseeing our Acadamies abroad including the one we've recently opened in Greece.
