Morgan has alluded to some dressing room unrest. no idea what could be behind that, but there may be something in it. like others have said, very odd for all to completely lose form.

for me it shows that Buttler and Mott are clueless, their only plan was to just carry on with what Morgan did, no idea on how to evolve and adapt.

for the remaining games i'd like to see Brook, Curran, Atkinson and Carse play, they are the future. drop any of the current team, bar Rashid and Buttler, none of the others will be around for the next cycle.

the next series we need to see Ahmed, Jacks, Salt, Duckett etc, they will be the future of the 50 over side.

They didn't even do that. You can be both your bollocks Morgan would have had something to say about the lack of 50 over games and the to and fro selection process. There almost certainly would have been a lot less muddled thinking in selection at least.

Morgan has been away for a couple of weeks and hasn't been anywhere near the players so, like everyone else, he's guessing. Although I wouldn't bet much on him being wrong. Something isn't right.

i guess you're right here. it just shows really that Buttler is no leader and Mott is not a good enough coach. it just isn't possible that the whole squad has lost form at the same time. especially when their bar was set so high. i expect Morgan has been told something by someone inside the dressing room, exactly what that is is anyone's guess atm.

it'll probably be a concoction of things. Mott will go though, you can't have a coach publicly admit he's clueless and then stay on.

it'll be a forced changing of the guard, which should have happened anyway, but there will probably be a lot more collateral damage having performed how they have.

I put this down as a danger game.
But I don't agree with Joe on this.

Warner, Cummins and Starc all easily get into England's team for me. Mitchell Marsh and Zampa get in as well for me.

I think the problem with England is that they are too focussed on going hard all the time and aren't adapting to focus on strike rotation when boundaries aren't coming. England's bowling attack is also mediocre in these conditions (aside from Wood and Rashid).

Fuck sake. Just remembered this match is on and Australia are already out of sight. 38-2. We're never getting that.

interesting selection.

at this point, not sure why Brook and Carse aren't playing.
No real forward thinking, we're essentially out, why not give the 'future' a bit more of a go. I feel for Willey, essentially forced to retire, and then asked to play, the England setup really have taken the piss put of him!

Brook must have really upset some people, especially Butler

First person on my teamsheet and I build my team around him

This Comp, the ECB in relation to 50 over cricket, our thinking and planning of late has been a fucking car crash

I don’t understand stokes playing, he’s come out and said he’ll be having a knee op after this tournament so why not just come home now and get it done, what’s the point of him staying out there?

I just don’t understand Buttler’s captaincy, they’ve scored about 25 runs so far with deft cuts or edges through the non existent slip cordon, bring a man or two up and put a bit of pressure on them ffs!😬

And just as I say that Green decides to toss his bat in the air just as high as the ball went!😬😬😬
