Joe Root looking to keep his stunning batting average of just under 5 going in overs 1-10 in ODIs since the 2019 world Cup, sadly made thirteen, so that'll go up, rubbish! 19-2, get in England!

My eight year old is going nuts, it’s hilarious!
Apart from stating the bleeding obvious and saying how rubbish we are he seems to think that England’s answer is to get him over there and he’ll show them how to play.
It’s been a full on five minute tirade and he’s still going, he’s absolutely lost the plot!🤣

Angelo Matthews just got timed out for waiting for a replacement helmet to be brought on after his strap broke walking out to bat. Just when you thought you've seen everything the game has to offer something new happens.

Wow, I didn’t even realise that was a thing, seems a bit harsh on the guy!

It’s an absolute disgrace, Bangladesh should be ashamed of themselves. I’m consistent with cricket - if it seems like an unsporting dick move when an opponent isn’t trying to gain an advantage then it probably is - but this takes the biscuit. He could have batted without a helmet and been fine - so essentially the laws say we don’t care about your safety in this circumstance. But either way, the fielding team has to appeal and they chose to do so. Wankers

Wow, Shakeeb saying the umps actually asked him if he was serious when he appealed and he appealed again.
Shocking decision, the umps gave him the opportunity to retract it and he didn’t.
Sporting moral compass properly dropped with that one….🙄

This is absolutely ridiculous from Maxwell. The guy literally cannot move with cramp and he's just reverse-swatted the quick(ish) to the third man boundary.

Not sure if this is the right plan from AUS though. Maxwell can't run at all, so can't get to the other end full stop, but Cummins who can bat is just blocking an over so that the absolutely crocked Maxwell can try to score 12 off the next over.

EDIT: Althou, TBF he's just reverse-swept the quick for six so what do I know.

That is possibly the most incredible innings by any batsman in history. Maybe Lara's 501 tops it, but I can't think of a single other.
