37… over 600 wickets, worth a ridiculous amount, written into cricket history, nice bloke, retiring well before 40, and goes home to Mollie King…

I’m 36… what on earth am I doing with my life 😂

Wow, genuinely emotional... What a series, some great moments! So pleased for Broady and Mo too, neither going to play test cricket again! Woakes was immense too. Such a huge shame there's no test cricket for a while now!

The momentum has been with England since the 3rd test. Shame the rain had an impact on the result but what series. A fair few have played their last Ashes match over here.

Hell of a series, shame we couldn't win it.

morally we did. Even though the history books show a drawn series, only been one team in it for me. Aussies have been smashed, only thing that beat England was England.

There are moments in sport that just don't get anywhere else in life. The last couple of hours have been fantastic, but Broad taking the final wicket with his final ball in cricket to square the series was just an incredible moment.

An absolutely deserved victory for England, and losing this series would have been totally unjust. It feels like we made the running the whole way through this series, and if we'd caught in the first couple of tests the way we did here, it would have been an England Ashes win.

But a fantastic Ashes series overall.

And let's hope we hear no more criticism of the way Stokes and BM are pushing us to play. It's an absolute pleasure to watch win or lose.

Second best series of my adult life.

Aaah, it's just the end of July and we have to wait until next year for the next Test match!

Probably the best ashes series since 2005. Still think declaring on that first innings of the first test was nuts, but all the twists and turns made it what it was.
Hope we can put on a good show down under next time around - about time we won that urn back.

Brilliant end to a brilliant series and the Aussies can count themselves bloody lucky to still have the Ashes

Could genuinely have been 5-0 England with a few catches made

A great Aussie team though it has to be said...apart from Carey the swine

Fantastic series. Really enjoyed getting my wife involved and interested in cricket for the first time too.

Warner the oily toad, Twitchy, Mr Spirit of Cricket, Jimmy Somerville, Kawaja, Lyon and Starc and there's one or two hovering around the 30 year old mark..........

That's a pretty big chunk that we probably won't see over here again
