I was sad to hear about the death of Heath Streak...

...And Henry Olonga's friendship after Olonga announced on Twitter that Streak had died from Cancer. :ROFLMAO:

So random that after Olonga was told (by Heath himself) that he wasn't dead or even ill Olonga posted that "I just heard from him. The third umpire has called him back. He is very much alive folks.''

Such a random story.

What!? I saw the post yesterday and he's not dead? Wow. That's great.

Edit: just had a look around Twitter to see what happened. I'd have been so tempted not to issue a statement or anything like that but just wait a couple of days then go out shopping, or to the pub. Or write a letter to The Times complaining about a small factual error in my obituary.

In T20 terms that was pretty much a massacre. England were on course for 200 without breaking a sweat.

White ball player depth is staggering, we could put out three teams and there wouldn’t be much between them.

My own curiosity got to me so had to have a look at two other balanced XI’s, you could even get a 4th XI out that’d be competitive on the international stage, it’s quite staggering!

Roy
Salt
Pope
Root
Stokes
Smeed
Willey
Jordan
Ahmed
Stone
Atkinson

Duckett
Hales
Vince
Banton
Lawrence
Hain
Billings
T Curran
Parkinson
Mills
Topley

Only 1 wicket down but this is pretty poor from England so far… going to have to seriously put their foot down to get a decent score

England on the charge. Criminal to leave Brook out of the World Cup squad, he’s England most in form short form player

Hate a stuttered finish to a T20 game… should have sent Livingstone out

Atkinson’s got some serious wheels on him, looked really handy out there today.
Let’s hope we don’t break him as well…..🤣😬

Brook honestly just strikes that ball so purely and with incredible timing. It’s a rare quality to have, reminiscent of someone like Yuvraj Singh with the ability of effortless destruction.

Malan is having an absolutely awful run of form. Today was actually embarrassing for him.

And they picked him ahead of Brook for the World Cup. I thought the days of having a bunch of jokers doing the selecting was long gone and WTF is Jos thinking.

haha

they've got Root and Stokes to do that anchor role in the 50 over side, no need for Malan ahead of Brook.
