I wish I could say the same. I'm from Yorkshire and the town I grew up in is full of them and they are despicable characters. Not all but a great percentage of them. They're a **** club with **** fans but the Prem needs them and they need the Prem, what would WWE be without the heels, you need the bad guys in the league sometimes.
Every Leeds fan I have met has been a fucking idiot. Massive chips on their shoulders. Had some fun with the mouthy ****s back in 99 when we done em in the cup. Anderton and Ginola worldies. The looks on their whippet fucking faces. Priceless.I wish I could say the same. I'm from Yorkshire and the town I grew up in is full of them and they are despicable characters. They enjoy hearing stories of others having their heads kicked in. I remember a few years ago and they were on preseason and my FB was full of their fans celebrating their fans charging the pitch to fightthe opposition. They wear stuff like a badge of honour. They are WH but worse for me. They get abusive and take rivalry to the next level.
I'll never forget the day we drew 1-1 with Arsenal (the Jol vs Wenger game). Me and my friends were in Leeds watching the game and when Arsenal scored one of these friends jumped off his seat celebrating and then screamed in my face. We'd never had so much as banter about football but here he was laughing at me and then he spent the rest of the night singing Henry songs, trying to rile me.
It's what they do, they take others misfortune and wear it as a badge of honour despite their own troubles.
Sorry to rant haha. But I cannot stand their fans. For me they are worse than Arsenal and Liverpool because of the violent element.
Yeah I really enjoyed that victory. I'm not the type to gloat but I could actually go to school with a smile on my face compared to the rest of the time where I'd just get constantly teased by them......grown adults too.Every Leeds fan I have met has been a fucking idiot. Keep the faith mate. I admire you for living in the same place as those special people. Most people on here saying they are glad they are back in the top division have probably never met any of their fans.Yeah I really enjoyed that victory. Millwall still got a chance to come up via the playoffs, imagine if they do and the fun the police will have in their games against West Ham and Leeds

Did he kick your head in when you told him you support Spurs or have you not had the courage to tell him yet?My dad's Leeds
No, because the cliché isn't always accurate. He does have some frightening stories of the 70s, and the beginning of the InterCity clubs. But he always kept clear of it.Did he kick your head in when you told him you support Spurs or have you not had the courage to tell him yet?
Just a joke geezer. I am sure he’s a lovely bloke. I am just commenting from my experience of their fans in the 90s.No, because the cliché isn't always accurate. He does have some frightening stories of the 70s, and the beginning of the InterCity clubs. But he always kept clear of it.
Leeds being a one club city in a very rugby and cricket part of the country, bred an unsavoury fanatiscm. The rise of the club under Revie coincided with the rise of the hooligan, and it's always overshadowed the rather impressive feats it's accomplished.
I'd recommend reading/watching "Do you want to win?" about the Wilkinson era. It's pretty interesting, and is up front about the club's struggle with its duality of being a progressive club, and "dirty Leeds".
