Just a joke geezer. I am sure he’s a lovely bloke. I am just commenting from my experience of their fans in the 90s.
Of course, I know that (y)

I have seen him lairy, like. Most infamously at my engagement party, in my erstwhile fiancée's parents back garden no less, he got blind drunk and was singing out "Mighty Leeds!" This being the peak O'Leary years of course.

My Mam told us the next day that they'd walked home by cutting through the park, and she'd had to leave my dad behind because he was swinging on the swings, 1 in the morning, shouting "Leeds United and fuck the rest!"

He was 53!

Won 8 games in a row and then lost the most important game in their clubs recent history.

I hope they get another chance, but that might ruin their flow.

A shame for Brentford, really want them to go up. I'm mates with a couple of their fans, and been to Griffin Park plenty.

Hope Bielsa stays there or in the league, he would be easily best coach on the planet if he was at least 10% less crazy. One of a kind.

Tottenham and Leeds have had a special relationship for a while now. That cup game at ours was pretty interesting :).

I'll tell you one part of Leeds rep that is true, and that's the Man Utd hatred.

We're not talking the sort of rivalry Man Utd has with Liverpool. We're talking old, deep seated, Yorkshire v Lancashire, White Rose v Red Rose shite. There'll be a generation of Man U plastics who will have no idea what they're in for from Leeds.

I remember Gary Neville talking about his first game at Elland Road. He was properly unsettled by the violence of the hatred directed at them. And he'd played at Galatassaray.

Serious hatred.

Talking of Man U I reckon it was them who really started the mass hooligan thing.
Oh really? My dads told me about Leeds and West Ham meeting up on the old InterCity services, ripping up seats and setting fire to things. Got so wild he stopped going after he met my Mam.

Never really heard much about Man Utd. Although there's that old Jasper Carrott skit about the two Birmingham City fans at old Trafford.

West Ham got their reputation for their organisation but I expect Leeds and United had bigger hooligan followings as they have far larger fanbases.

The Red Army in the 60's steamrolled everything in their way. They are the reason that West Ham got mobbed up as they smashed up East London.
