I thought that this could be a fun thread for anyone who is big enough to admit their mistaken views/opinions when judging anything to do with Tottenham, and apologise for spouting off our unfounded/premature views...

For instance I will kick it off;

On the 22nd August as it started to be reported that Chelski could be stealing Willian from us I was adamant that he was the player we needed and was vocal in my negative view on signing Eriksen. Not because I didn't think he was any good but because I didn't think he would suit the Prem and didn't think he was much of a step up on Gylfi or really the player we needed in comparison with Willian.

I was wrong on so many counts. I apologise for these now quite frankly ridiculous outbursts on not wanting to sign Eriksen. God, has he already proved me wrong...

Over to you...

This is quite old now, but I didn't rate kaboul before we sold him to pompey. On the other hand I was up front blowing the whistle on the rohan ricketts hype train.

I slated the recruitment of AVB as was a massive Harry fan. I thought AVB was another Ramos.
I was SOOOOOOOO wrong on every count.
Its a bit boring though now - I have nothing to moan about

I apologise for always being right, and I will try to occasionally be wrong just to make everyone else feel better for being so dumb!! :sneaky:

I was wrong about Holtby.

After seeing him last season I thought he was just another one of our 'buying for buying sakes' type player.

But he's good, and can be very good IMO. Good attitude, undoubted quality, and will develop nicely under AVB.

To be fair, Rohan Ricketts was ridiculously exciting for about 30 seconds every 3 matches...

I am not really too negative about Spurs, however there have been times I have questioned what the club was doing.

I was upset to see Harry go and us to get in AVB. After seeing him at Chelsea I was a little apprehensive about him coming in as Head Coach. After what he got out of the team last season and what we have done so far I can say I was very wrong. He even addressed little issues we had like conceding late goals, he spotted the problem early on last season and he found a way to keep the players concentration up. I'm sorry for not believing in AVB 100% when he got here.

If we want to go really far back I think I was a little concerned (and I think I was posting on here) when we signed Carrick from a relegated West Ham. I didn't see what he would bring to the team. He however turned out to be very good for the team at the time.

I think this goes to show I know very little about football!

I haven't been Holtby's biggest supporter until recently, I don't recall ever slagging him of as such, hopefully I don't do that about anyone really (except Hutton, you understand) ... but certainly I didn't see it until recently and i am delighted to have been wrong.

Just never saw anything special in Eriksen's game. D'oh! Was also a major Sahin nut-hugger last summer.

Otherwise, I'm always bang on and awesome.

I regret nothing!

In his own way Rohan Ricketts is a football legend!

At the last count he has played for 14 clubs in 8 countries, including spells in Moldova, Ecuador and India and he's only 30!

His autobiography could be a great read!

I was wrong about Redknapp, I thought he would be sacked...he was sacked in the end but I thought he would be sacked much earlier after a poor run of results.

I wanted AVB, have said for ages that Holtby would come good, was delighted we signed Eriksen, have backed Walker and Defoe, was happy we got Capoue, and was shocked at the criticism Chadli was getting.

Yet apparently because I dislike seeing Naughton playing as a LB (I think he's incredibly poor there) some people think I don't deserve to support Spurs.

So I guess I'm sorry. Sorry I have to share my support with those holier than thou fuckwits.

That must make me even more of a **** then as I despise seeing him play RB as well...
