Yeah he's clearly shit, and you see it whereas the rest of the world sees a talented young player, who's still learning in the thick of the action.Alli makes most pitches look bobbly most weeks.

What I meant was, at the start of the season where Dembele and Sissoko weren't options, we didn't get our tippy-tappy game going at all despite having those players on the pitch that should be able to play that style.
Monaco was the culmination of that, where bar about 15 first half minutes we looked dreadful until Dembele came on.
If we can get that game going then I agree it's both better on the eye and more effective, but it feels as if all of our brutes are out of this game and I much prefer it when we actually have an option either way.
I also want to see a game where Eriksen and Lamela both play at the top of their abilities in the same game. If they don't we always look unbalanced.

For those thinking/hoping Edwards might play, he's been named in the starting lineup for the under 19's game that kicks off at midday.
How were we ever going to do tippy tappy with a cm2 of Dier and Wanyama though?

Most of the time I really enjoy reading your posts. But your incessant negativity towards the same players suggests you often try align the content of your posts with your previous postings, to prove that you were right all along. Thankfully though, you aren't the manager. That's not what I said or what I mean. He is clearly a talented young player, but he can bumble a bit, as can Son, Kane and Lamela, but none of those are likely to play in CM instead of Winks, which is the point I was making in response to someone claiming the rather tenuous "bobbly pitch" as a reason why no to pick Winks - who imo is more technically sure footed on the ball in midfield than Alli is (as is Onomah imo).
It's only a 4 hour flight, really shouldn't be too damaging to the squad
it's a valid point but I feel the Russia games twist this a little bit. I.E don't take him half way round the world and not play him as the flight/time will mess the players up a bit anyway. If this was Spain/France you can leave a player on the bench but not sure if it works for russiaIt might be tempting to rest Son tonight, but I'd keep him in the team to make the most of his current form. He was rested at the start of the season, so I'd like to think he's fresh enough to play.

I agree, it would be forfeit to travel half way around the world for a match in Moscow, less than 4 hour away by airplane.I.E don't take him half way round the world
Vorm
Walker TA Wimmer Davies
Winks Wanyama Onomah
Sissoko Janssen Nkoudou
So does this team look so catastrophic now ? Especially if we chuck Lamela back in because of Sissoko's injury ?
Did Winks look like CSKA could scar him for life ? Would Onomah have offered any less than Alli did ? Seriously ?
