Too early to pick a serious team so I’ll go with this for now:

Lloris
Aurier __________ Dier __________ Bale
Lo Celso Højbjerg Ndombele
Lamela ______________________ Son
Vinicius Kane

Hart Sissoko Winks Reguilón Lucas Dele Bergwijn

For West Ham my choice would be:

Lloris

Doherty
Sanchez
Dier
Reggs

Hojbjerg
Lo Celso
Ndombele

Bale
Kane
Son

Subs (very hard): Hart, Toby, Davies, winks, dele, lamela, Vinny

Our squad depth is CRAZY! Think of the players not included in the above:
Gazzaniga, Aurier, Tanganga, sissoko, Bergwijn, Moura, and I’m probably forgetting some.

I think we need to stop with the "Vinny" We will jynx him and all he will do is score 2 penalties

what about Sissoko?
Damn! I will edit my post.

I initially had him in the starting XI, then forgot to add him to the bench. It was already hard enough cutting some of the others. We need to go back to 5 subs and a bench of 9. ? It would give us an edge of a lot of our rivals atm!

I'd play Sissoko at Burnley away...same midfield against United etc.

Could see Mourinho handling Sissoko like Fergie did with Park.

Might not see him for a few games and then he's in the line up.

Also expect him to feature a good bit in that run of hard fixtures.

Switch out Hojbjerg for Dele (to play off Vinicius & Kane) and it's almost as attacking as an Ossie team

Aurier has 1 good game and everyone wants him to start ? No, he has had several

Short memories, we just tried unsuccessfully to unload him. Nothing wrong with my memory, I appreciated and recognised the good he did for us despite having the brain farts. I personally wanted him to stay as he loved the club and had still had a lot to offer.

I wonder if Jose will agree. Well he does play him so what do you think? I think Doherty might start as we need to see a bit more of what Aurier produced against ManU till he overtakes Doherty in the pecking order. Aurier has nothing to prove and there is no pecking order, just different options.

I don't think we bought Doherty as a back up to Aurier. Neither did we retain Aurier t be a back up for Doherty

The same team as Old Trafford, on Thursday for the Europa League the substitutes have to play, Davies, Winks, Lo Celso, Bergwinj, Vinicius, Lucas.

Remember this is spurs whilst we are all happy then I hear Reguilon was injured playing for Spain it is just something that most of us expect one or more of our players to come back injured from international duty . I just hate mid season internationals why oh why can't they play them at the end of the season . If you did not have the mid season internationals the season could finish earlier and give plenty of time to play internationals .

If Moussa doesn't make the team against WHU then he needs to be on the bench as a defensive back up if needed. Watched the whole Man U game again, he had a much more defensive role against United which allowed Aurier to get forward , for very short periods he switched to the left side but majority of the match was on the right as back up to Aurier. He only really got forward once when he was involved in Harry's goal.

i agree, plus id like Bale to get a run out just to see the look on the faces of the Wham defenders!

Lloris
Aurier -- Dier -- Sanchez -- Reguilon
Hojbjerg
Dele --- Ndombele

Vs. LASK

Actually think this game is massive, it's the exact type of game that would be typical to lose or drop points in after such a big win and West Ham have often been a nuisance over the last few years.

Depends totally on fitness of all the players coming back from international duty. Would be interesting to see Jose pick a team of XI players who are the freshest, so players like Son, Vinicius and Bale could be the front three for example, and have Kane on the bench.

Interesting listening to José in his documentary talking about untouchables. He was referring to lampard as one of his untouchables.

At spurs I think we can already name a few,

Lloris, dier, PEH, Kane and son.

The team is pretty much interchangeable around the rest. Bale of course may become one as well.

The battles are toby Vs davinson (could be a tactical decision as well). The full backs. And the rest of the midfield.

Though within a few games we could have ndombele, lo celso added to that list.

So we are slowly getting to know our first 11 again. I have high hopes for davinson and reguillon. Which leaves only the right back.

I thought it was Doherty but this could get interesting. It's Serge at the moment.

Though I agree with your sentiment, at this moment in time, I seriously don’t think Dier and PEH should be untouchable mainstays in the side. Dier especially.

hopefully Reguilon and Lo Celso can cement themselves on that undisputed status. They both are on their way.
