Looking forward to this one (as I'm going, first time at the lane this season ). Expect a couple of changes from Redknapp. My team:

-------------Gomes-----------

--Corluka--King--Woody--BAE--

--Lennon--Palacios--Jenas--Kranjcar--

-------------Keano---Pav--------

Subs: Cudicini, Hutton, Bentley, Crouch, Dawson, Hudd, Bassong.

Chosen Pav because I think that Crouch is better as an impact sub for this kind of game and I don't see us being too comfortable after 60/70 mins. This will be a tricky one and although Bassong has played well lately, our best pairing is Woody and Ledders.

Would like to see that team but there is no way Pav will start, unless Redknapp is fuming about crouchy's little incident on saturday. in wich case woody shouldn't be playing either.

Playing 90 mins doesnt mean that Woody is match fit which he isnt. So why drop Bassong who has perfomred admirably under the circumstances? Woody has to work for his place IMO.

I agree Pav should start and so should Crouch. Keane to the bench in my opinion. You all seem to be picking him as if he has an automatic right to play, where in my opinion he is not a first team option based on his current form (depsite 4 against Burnley).

As much as i love Pav he can't start over Crouch or Keane.

And i know some think Keane is a dick and shit because he only scored 4 goals in one game, but he's exactly the type of player to unlock Stoke's defence and i personally think Crouch and Keane works better than Crouch and Defoe (due to Keane playing at his best with a tall target man) So saturday is a perfect chance to try it again.

I just hope Pav gets 30 mins or so to prove to Harry that he can offer something, especially after Defoe got himself needlessly banned for 3 games

Corluka....King....Bassong....Ekotto
Lennon....Palacios....Jenas....Kranjcar
Keane....Crouch

No, people are picking him as he is the captain, and if the captain is fit he plays, rightly or wrongly.

Not "because" but "despite !

Anyway no one other than yourself mentioned "Dick" or "Shit", its just that others like myself think we have better options, so what wrong with that? Its called competing for places where the best should play where in MY opinion Keane isnt!

I think in this one I'd pick King/Dawson as the CB pairing. If there's one thing dawson loves to do it is head the ball, and against teams like Stoke I think it'll be important. So I'll go for:

Gomes
Corluka
King
Dawson
BAE
Lennon
Palacios
Jenas
Krankjar
Keane
Crouch

Im not personally aiming it your opinion, your entitled to it

The reason i say "shit and "a dick" is often people wont ever want to have Keane near a Spurs XI due to personal engenda's and the fact he left us etc etc.

I personally dont think Pav and Crouch can play together, but id love to be proved wrong, but Harry is always gonna choose Defoe, Keane and Coruch (probs in that order) if they are fit and able to play.

Im a massive Pav fan, as well as Keane, Defoe and Crouch, but on current form Keane should start because Pav doesn't have any due to Harry not playing him or only in Cup matches etc.

Tbh i never saw a problem with Defoe and Pav...but as i put in my previous post id like to see Crouch and Keane tried as a partnership.

Again this is simply my opinion

Like others, I agree with this.

I do feel sorry for Huddlestone though, he has played well this season. Thats the strength of our squad though and he should then get a run out against Everton in the cup.

thudd instead of Jenas for me.

I think Hudd has played in every game this season. Jenas has come back in since he recovered from his injury and Palacios in firmly a first choice CM so Harry has some decisions to make.

Harry could play Huddlestone at the back, which I think is a good option if we expect to have a lot of posession and have to break down Stoke. If he does that, then he has to drop Bassong, who has been a first choice. Futhermore, if Woodgate and King are fit then Harry actually has options for almost every position on the pitch. Based on:

Gomes, Ekotto, Bassong, King, Corluka, Kranjcar, Jenas, Palacios, Keane, Crouch

we have a really strong set of players who could make the bench:

Cudicini, Bale, Dawson, Woodgate, Hutton, Bentley, Huddlestone, Pavlyuchenko

I think Village is better than Bassong, but would like to see him eased in.
