same 11 that started at everton..... only potential changes:

maybe chadli in for lennon.... maybe naughton in for chiriches?.... but with only 2 days rest in between who knows how many knocks and how much fatigue will take its toll?.... perhaps even dier in for fazio?.... <bring back the shrugging smilie>

Can't disagree with that team. The only player that deserves a place as well is Chadli but you can't play him if you pick Lennon, Eriksen, Kane and Soldado.

I'd give Eriksen a rest, he looks knackered.

Lloris;
Naughton, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies;
Lennon, Bentaleb, Mason, Chadli;
Kane;
Soldado

Maybe bring Eriksen on in the 60th if we're struggling.

Imo imo

Same eleven that started against Everton.

Palace's main threat will obviously be Bolasie....he plays on the left side for them doesn't he?

Lennon is ideal...one pace merchant tracking another.

I hope that's the team. Ideally I'd like Naughton instead of Vlad so we've got a natural fullback.

I think start the same again keep the momentum going in our style of play and rest what we can in the EL.

Think it's crucial to keep this ethic we have hit upon, going.

Vlad is part of the reason we have been functional in the last two games imo. I think his forward play is crucial and naughton just doesn't offer that.

Amazingly, vlad is now our #1 RB :D

Fair shout but I'd rather it the other way round and start him and swap up with chadders when he runs out of juice.

Get on top of palace from the off with our most effective 11.

This is the perfect game to rotate a couple, eriksen, bentaleb and maybe Vlad.

We've got many more games over the xmas period, dont want burn out.

Chadli, Benji, Naughton to come in for me. If they arent good enough to play against Palace at home, what are they doing on our books.

lloris
naughton fazio verts davies
stambo mason
lennon lamela/kane chadli
soldado

Kane/Eriksen to get a break (sub) if we lead. Use the full squad, it's one of the advantages we have over Palace on a packed week.

I would have rotated tonight and had rested some of the guys who did really well on Sunday....as the points are much more winnable against Palace but I understand why Poch wanted to keep the momentum going.

These are always tricky calls but I feared we might end up looking tired against Palace if its more or less the same team playing three games in six days.

Yeah this is going to be a tricky squad selection. But, I'd let the starters go one more match - let them rest next week. Maybe bring Chadli on for Lamela or Eriksen. Maybe Stambouli for Bentaleb.

Bentaleb must start IMO. Gone up a level in the last two games, he'll be important.

Although Walker might be ready for the bench on Saturday. Can't get him back too soon.

Yeah, but funnily enough I'm not sure he'll be delivering balls into the box like vlad has on a few occasions. Great to have him back though, that pace is so needed.
