I’d like to see White play, but this game is completely the wrong time for that. Having said that, I do think that we should try Bergwijn at RWB, especially if we’re gonna counter. He’s got the ability to break away, and also deliver a cross. But, what do I know? We’ll play Moura with his back to goal and his first touch will get picked up by City, every time for them to break on us. It’s inevitable. Anyhoo, I think I’d go with this:

best thing to do is build a brick wall - knowing our lot they would put it at the wrong end

if we keep it to less than 5 we will have done well

Yep Regi has covid.

Dont think we hve a choice but to play a solid back 4 now. Emerson Romero Dier Davies.

Another chance for Sess, or Bergwin or Lavinier? Haven't a clue, hope Conte has ???
Actually, maybe play Davies as a defensive LWB, Rodon LCB, Emerson defensive RWB
5 4 1 Son up top
As the Smiths said
What difference does it make ?

Play a midfield 3 with Kane in it, we don’t have enough quality there and he is the best thing we can put in there with PEH and Bentancur. Son up top looking to break.

Reguilon missing out strengthens the case for 4 at the back:

———————Lloris
Emerson—Romero—Dier—Davies
—Kulusevski—Bentancur—Hojbjerg
——Lucas———Kane———Son

Subs: Gollini, Doherty, Sánchez, Rodon, Sessegnon, Winks, White, Bergwijn, Scarlett

I would play Davies as wing back in this match with Rodon playing in the back 3 with Romero and Dier

Have we ever felt so pessimistic about our chances in a game for many a season.. This probably illustrates the size of the current gap between the the two clubs.

Knew 100% we would lose away to Chelsea. Feel more confident vs City, although I expect us to lose.

I wouldn't have Davies anywhere near this game. I know we're limited with alternatives but he's on for a hat trick of fuck ups
