We need to rest as many as we can. We can even afford to lose this and go through. NLD is most important.

My Team for Anderlecht :-

4-2-3-1 Lloris, Trippier, Davies, Alderwerled, Wimmer, Veljkovic (in my dreams), Mason, Lamela, Onomah, Townsend and Kane.

I'm very conflicted for this game.. I want to rest as many as possible but I know how important this game is /:

Lloris
Trippier Alder Wimmer Davies
Dier Mason
Townsend Onomah Lamela
Njie

tbh I wish we could reply on Fazio to rest alder

Those wanting wholesale changes will be disappointed. Think the full backs will be swapped and Mason will come in.

I know everyone loves a trophy, but we are going so well in the league and others are really struggling that I want to prioritise the league over everything else.

To that end my 11 vs Anderlecht would be:

Vorm
Trippier - Fazio - Wimmer - Davies
Carroll - Mason
Townsend - Onomah - N'jie (if available)
Son (if available)

Its not realistic I know, as Poch never rotates a full 11 and I can understand that, but if it was me that's what I would do have the others fully focused on Arsenal.

No idea, but expect it will be stronger than most would like.

I'm normally for as many changes as possible in the Europa League but for this one we need to play a pretty strong side to get the job done so we can rest quite a few before the Chelsea game.

Fail to win on Thursday and then we'll have to send a full strength squad out there before Chelsea.

I'd keep Lamela and Dembele fresh for the NLD though.

This is the team I think Poch will play (and pretty much what I would do as well):

Lloris

Trippier
Toby
Jan
Davies

Dier
Alli

Townsend
Mason
Eriksen

Kane

Alli and Mason could be switched though.

But I reckon he'll keep Walker, Dembele, Lamela and Rose (if fit) fresh for the NLD.

I'd agree and say that the Chelsea result is more import than the Arsenal result. If we beat Anderlecht and Qarabag get anything vs Monaco then we can risk the Qarabag game and hopefully beat monaco to finish top

IMO, as things stand, we have better chance of qualify to CL by league than EL.
Given there are 2 games left after this, I will take the risk of fielding 2nd XI for Anderlecht and play the stronger XI against Arsenal.

My Anderlect XI :

Son has been selected for S Korea XI - which means he should be 100% fit. So, I wouldsatrt him & Njie ahead of Kane and bench Kane. Anderlcht won every header last time around. If there was a game, we need Fazio's height, its this.

Lloris,
Trippier, Fazio, Wimmer, Rose,
Mason, Alli,
Townsend, Son, Onomah
Njie

Bench : Kane, Lamela, Eriksen, Davies, Toby, Winks, Dembele

If things go well, Son & Alli to be subbed at 60 min with Dembele and Lamela

My Arsenal XI

Lloris,
Walker, Toby, Jan, Davies,
Dier, Dembele,
Lamela, Eriksen, Son,
Kane

Crazy talk, if we lose this we put ourselfs under pressure for the last two games, the good thing is we are at home as well so no travel.

I think he'll change the full backs and bring Mason, Wimmer and Townsend in, Onumah will get more minutes as well.

No way should lloris fly to qarabag.

Vorm is not useless and does need minutes.

vorm away at qarabeg,.... and THAT's It :pompous::shifty:

he has looked terrible this season, if lloris is alive, then lloris starts is the default position. but okay, vorm in qarabeg :nailbiting:

vs anderlecht:
lloris
trippier toby wimmer davies
dier mason
onomah eriksen townsend
clinton

Kane took a bad spill in the villa game, but he can come on in the 60th minute or so with Son...

vs arsenal:

lloris
walker toby jan davies
dier alli
lamela dembele eriksen
kane

need Alli and Kane to start vs gooners. Dier gets no rest... Son as super sub

a lot of injuries right now, but arsenal have a fair few on the treatment table as well...

tough pair of games right here :blackeye::nailbiting:

Under pressure? Against Qarabag?

Our u-18 could get out of this group. Monaco do not even want to qualify.

Would go with this to start

4-2-3-1

LLORIS

TRIPPIER
ALDERWELDEIRLD
WIMMER
DAVIES

MASON
DEMBELE

TOWNSEND
LAMELA
CLINTON

KANE

Should be strong enough to win the game at home. Obviously take Lamela/Kane off when the time is right.
