Game is already in three days, think we need to rest our key players for the NLD, but then we are short of players. It is especially hard to rest Kane with Chadli, Son and now Clinton not there.
Don't think Bentaleb or Son are available, will do the team without NJie as well who should be on the bench tonight if fit. 1st rule for me is no Fazio.

Something like:

----------------------------------Lloris-----------------------------------
--------Trippier-------Alderweireld---Wimmer---------Davies-----
-----------------------Winks----------Mason---------------------------
------Townsend--------------Onomah----------------Eriksen--------
---------------------------------Kane-------------------------------------

Subs: Vorm, Walker, Vertonghen, Dier, Dembele, Alli, Lamela

Our injury situation is becoming really frustrating. Fingers crossed Son makes the bench for this.

Mason needs to start this one to up the fitness levels. Essential Dembele and Lamela are fresh for the NLD.

No choice but to start Kane again.

Lloris

Trippier
Toby
Jan
Davies

Dier
Alli

Townsend
Mason
Eriksen

Kane

* If Njie is fit he starts obviously.

Try and get the job done as quickly as we can and haul off Kane and Erisken etc. We need the win here as I'd be sending out a second string coupled with youth for the next one before Chelsea. We must be in a position to keep key players at home before Chelsea. Could be the biggest game of the season for us in the League - one of them anyway. Beat them and I don't think they'd catch us.

Vorm, Trippier, Wimmer, Mason, Townsend, Onomah to start. At least we can rest 6 key players.

The other 5 can be any other player that fits into the other positions.

I've been informed that Hugo has insisted that he will play in all the Europa games this season

We need 3 points so we can consider leaving players at home for the trip to azerbaijan. Because we have chelsea a couple of days after that one.

Poch has some serious planning to do for this months games.

I'm fearful for our next 3 league games, we have a growing injury list, Arsenal game is after a must win EL game, Chelsea is after a trip to Azerbaijan and I can't see Alli or Lamela getting through Arsenal & West Ham games with out a Yellow card, so they will most likely be suspended for one of those games.
In Europa League if you get 10 points you are pretty much got enough to go through(only 4 or 5 times has 10 points not been enough but when that happened the lowest team in the group had 3 points). I think Qarabag will get more points and we need to focus on getting 6 points

Against Anderlecht I would play:
N'Jie
Eriksen ------- Onomah ------- Townsend
Dier ------ Mason
Davies -- Wimmer -- Alderwiereld Trippier
Lloris
Son coming on for Eriksen and Carroll or Winks for Onomah if he is fit and Kane coming on second half

I do have a feeling we wont see Wimmer and see Fazio instead or both

All it would take for us to win the last 2 and still not qualify is us to lose to Anderlecht, Anderlecht & Monaco to beat Qarabag and Monaco to beat Anderlecht.

IMO, Qarabag's easiest game is vs us, as we will have an eye on Chelsea and the are away to Anderlecht.

If we dont play Vorm in these games we may as well release him.

He is not that bad and if he doesn't get enough game time he will deteriorate, at least McGee and co play academy games and they probabaly have more game time under their belt than Vorm.

He needs time on the pitch.. If we are gonna finish second in our group anyway, may as well give the kids a run.

The only change I would give that starting 11 is I would swap Dier for Dembele, as I think the former is more important for the Arsenal game and Dembele didn't play the whole 90 v Villa. Personally, I would like to see Son, Winks & Carroll come on for Eriksen, Dembele & Mason (should they all be fit, we get no more injuries and we be winning).

I agree but then I remember Dembele did get a knock during the match but carried on and was wondering whether that was what brought him off

We don't have a duty to play Vorm though. If Hugo wants to play, he plays.

We need the three points so we can't rotate as much as I'd like. I'd go with this:

Lloris
Trippier Alderweireld Wimmer Davies
Dier Mason
Alli Onomah Townsend
Clinton
I think Townsend is closing in on the end of his time at Spurs, and while I'm sure it won't happen I'd really like to see him be given a shot out on the left. IMO he's more accurate shooting with his right foot anyway, and would obviously have the ability to go outside and get crosses in with his strong foot. On the right he's too predictable, mostly cutting inside and looking to get shots away into the stands.

Mason needs to play to continue building up fitness and regain match sharpness, while Dier will be necessary as they're strong in midfield. I'd like to see Eriksen, Lamela, and Dembele all rested for the NLD and I think Alli has demonstrated that he has the energy to keep playing game in game out, at least until we get more players back from injury in AM. Hopefully Clint will be fit to spell Kane.

We do need to release him. He just doesn't have the mentality for a #2. I think he's made about 8-9 mistakes in 25 games so far.
