If Lamela said he was available for 10-15mins for today, if needed, I can't see him being fit enough to start in 2 days.

If by injured you mean useless, then yes. Either Mourinho doesn't rate him, or it's because of his contract situation.

imo Rose will play the Norwich game. Lo Celso, Ndombele too. Tough fixture this month. Norwich are shite

Neither KWP or Rose were involved in the training session that took place after the match today. The only fit first team players not involved in anything today. So it seems the FB's will be unchanged on Saturday. Either that or we could see Foyth and/or Cirkin start.

That wasnt a warm down was it?
I would be surprised if we had a training session after a game.

Do people actually think Lo Celso can play in a midfield two?

Absolutely brainless.

People disagreeing with this...

I'll be proven right when Jose doesn't pick him in a midfield two on Saturday.

Lo Celso is too lightweight to play as as part of a two in the Premier League. He isn't strong enough and doesn't track runners.

I'll make a bet that we play some of our best football under Jose with a Midfield of Dier and Ndombele in the next game if indeed that is the two.

Probably, but for only about 15 minutes. Then Ndombele will be gassed and will have to slow the play down to catch his breath. I would love for us to switch formations for this and play 3 at the back (Toby, Sanchez and Vert) - RS and Aurier at the wing backs, Dier behind Eriksen and Lo Celso with Kane partnered with Parrott up top. Gives some guys a rest while have Dele and Moura on the bench to go at tired legs if needed late. Do not see this happening but think it work.

No Toby in the squad at all; you are committed to your character, YS, even Daniel Day Lewis isn't quite that method.

Rotating the fullbacks because Aurier played the ninety today. Not a fan of Rose recently but want Sessegnon higher up, and he should be able to cover - especially with Dier helping out.

Ndombele and GLC giving creativity through the middle, with Sessegnon and Lucas - both rested last week - offering more direct options when needed.

Kane needs a rest but I can’t see Mourinho giving Parrott a start.

How the fuck can you tell? Are you a fortune teller Dammit.

Mourinho on Erik Lamela
“Lamela, 57 or 58 days without the team, trained with the team twice after all that time and he came to me and said ‘I think you need me because you have injuries or suspension, if you need me for 10-15 minutes I’ll be there’. If we needed a goal then he was there for us. That sort of thing touches me.”

He played most of his games for Real Betis as an attacking midfielder in a formation of 3-4-2-1 throughout the 2018/19 season. Obvious that he's not suited for a deeper role imo.
