agree with this but feels harsh on Lo Celso after he was our standout player the previous few games. Nice to be having to leave people out again rather than go hunting for who's fit.If all fit and able to start then same XI as v Newcastle. Keep that momentum going.
It's football, it happens. Lo Celso was great, but there was a synergy on Sunday with the defense, midfield and front line. Would be stupid to change that after a big win. Not only by scoreline but the nature of the performance. If Lo Celso comes in then you drop someone who was involved v Newcastle.agree with this but feels harsh on Lo Celso after he was our standout player the previous few games. Who would he come in for though?agree with this but feels harsh on Lo Celso after he was our standout player the previous few games. Nice to be having to leave people out again rather than go hunting for who's fit.
Surely its:
Vicario
Porro
Romero
Davies
Udogie
Bissouma
Sarr
Kulusevski
Johnson
Richarlison
Son
Subs: Forster, Royal, Skipp, PEH, Lo Celso, Veliz, Bryan
Yes, + subs: Dorrington and Donley
He’ll get more game time in the coming weeks, no way we will be able to keep the same 11 over Christmas without changes. Not to mention when Bissouma and Sarr go off to Afcon.agree with this but feels harsh on Lo Celso after he was our standout player the previous few games. Agree and I’m one of Lo Celso’s biggest fans. The balance with Sarr & Kulu is great.Lo Celso did well but Kulu did better imo.
I’m not saying I would do it but the obvious candidate would be Johnson with Kulu shifting back to the wing. You don’t drop Richy after he got 2 goals, and you’re not dropping Sarr. I think he sticks to the same XI but injury aside it’s the only change that’s even plausible imoWho would he come in for though?
they absolutely battered villa at their place so wont be easy but they have also had some poor results there against lesser sides as well. They are good on the counter though and we are vulnerable to it.No changes for me, harsh on lo Celso but its a good problem to have.
Hopefully we can go up big early and get lo Celso on with some good 30 min to play.
Got a feeling this match is gonna be closer/harder than we think, no gimmies in the prem.
Johnson was far more effective on the right wing on Sunday than Kulu has been in recent games when he constantly cuts back on his left. Keep it the same unless forced.I’m not saying I would do it but the obvious candidate would be Johnson with Kulu shifting back to the wing.
