Are Milan having financial difficulties or is it a case of another club looking to off Balo due to his attitude? Not been paying enough attention to know really but I hadn't heard of him having quite so many issues at Milan as he has with other clubs in the past and his goalscoring record last season was good. The fee being touted in the media (around £16m) doesn't seem representative of that though.

Milan is a mess both off and on the pitch, they need the money.

Why is it only us that seems to struggle for weeks on end to buy one player, every other team seem to be able to wrap up deals pretty swiftly. Pool are hardly overpaying for Mario, 16 mil is a very good price for him.

I got a beating for saying the same thing. But JJ responded to me, so that was nice.

We like to go after the contracts that need top dollar to push through and well, Levy.

Balotelli knows the prem and is class. Will enter that side and make them an immediate challenger.

Before I thought they would get 4th now I see them fighting for top spot. Their attack is so fluid.

Pool sadly have done an amazing job of reshuffling the deck

That's not true though, it happens to every club, just that you don't pay attention to or notice it.

It took Liverpool over 2 months to get the Moreno deal sorted. Diego Costa went on for ages also. He was pictured IN Chelsea's stadium on July 1st, the deal was announced by Chelsea until 15 days later. City were in talks to Mangalas 3rd party for over a month until they finally came to an agreement, and ended up having to pay them £10m. Vidal to Manchester United has also been going on for over 2 months, with little or no progress, which also doesn't seem like it's going to be ending any time soon

The reason why Pool have managed to get Mario so fast is because he's actually for sale. He's been on the market since the WC finished, with Arsenal looking likely to sign him at first, only to decide against it for some reason.

This isn't just a jab at you, because i've seen plenty of others say the same, but you will find that fans at almost every single club think that their clubs take forever on transfers, it's just that we pay little to no attention to them, where as they'll probably be getting info from "ITKS" long before the media picks up on it...

Vargas on loan for QPR. Harry is still looking for no.10 and will probably provide deadline day entertainment for the masses. How many incoming and outgoing at QPR from now till end of window?

e: Alex McCarthy, left back, no.10, striker - could that be enough for Harry?

Slighting wrong on some of this stuff

Moreno - only took two months because Liverpool didnt want to pay the asking price and went for Davies instead and got rebuffed and then went back to moreno and pushed it through quickly

Costa - this imo took long because they didnt want to pay tax which they probably did have to in the end

Mangala - Totally agree but there is a perfectly acceptable explanation for this, Porto

Vidal - It hasn't been going on since united's bid got rejected

£16m for Balotelli and we're being linked to Remy for £11m. Something very wrong there!

If Milan are so desperate for money, how come they're prepared to take a financial hit on a top class striker who should have his best years ahead of him?! Confused...

Has much happened during his time in Milan? In theory, these are the years he might actually mature and consistently fulfill his potential.
