Liverpool apparently bid for balotelli. God, please, if your there, do not let this happen.

Contrary to popular belief, I still believe this lad is one of the top 5 strikers in the world on his day. Given his attitude problems Rodgers could turn that around to get the form needed out of him so to me this would be a devastating signing for Pool.

You can pretty much write all those players off now apart from Jones (there's still a good player in there) and the manager likes Young, could turn him into a useful wing back.

Was talking to a United fan and hes been saying to me for a while now that we wasted our money on average players last summer [I still think that could be proved wrong] and I have been saying to him that there overall squad now is not really top draw anymore and last season and this season they would start to feel the effect of not investing well over the past few years and that the players they have bought in the last few season haven't panned out well at all. There not really attracting the biggest names either anymore. Going to be a very different sort of club now.

But looking at us over the last few season I would look at the business we hage done and would say we have avoided taking to much of a hammering on bad signings.

United have fooked our hopes of MM, right? £16m plus Nani with wages paid and a 20% sell on clause for Rojo?! Grand player but very desperate business by the "best club in the world." No wonder the market is so borked.

So ManU have signed a left sided CB who can also cover LB for 16m + Nani's wages for a year.

Am I being optimistic in thinking that should be the end their interest in Vertonghen ?

Please god let this be true. He's a headfuck wackjob who causes a shitstorm wherever he goes, and spends half his time on a pitch sulking.

Suarez was a bit mental but at least he always gave everything every game he played.

Reminds me of their deal for Anelka, I think he'll be a success there though

You see...I used to like Mario but ever since he stamped on Scotty P's head and then won a penalty later on in the game, I've gone off him somewhat.

He's got a screw loose. I don't think even Rogers could tame this nut job :)

No, no, no...this must happen. It'll be fascinating watching the rot spread.:)
An undeniable talent when on-song but an uncontrollable misfit.

Won't be conducive to what Rodger's is trying to build there but it sure as hell will be fun to watch!

Seems they are also trying to loan Falcao for 12 mil. If they end up with ether him or Balotelli i will be a worried.

With our lack of incomings id say its a given they're going to be above us anway.

We're really fighting for 5th this year.

Rodger's handled Suarez rather well and he cant have been the easiest, i think they will be well aware of Balotelli's reputation and character problems.

If Liverpool sign Balotelli then we will finish behind them again imo.

This window has been so frustrating in general tbh.

Suarez as a 'team player' is one of the best around and a polar opposite to Balotelli - regardless of individual misdemeanors.

Are Milan having financial difficulties or is it a case of another club looking to off Balo due to his attitude? Not been paying enough attention to know really but I hadn't heard of him having quite so many issues at Milan as he has with other clubs in the past and his goalscoring record last season was good. The fee being touted in the media (around £16m) doesn't seem representative of that though.
