It's all pointing towards Berbatov at the minute.
is this just a hunch, or you heard anything?

Bloody hell, is he really only 29?! I have to say, I'd be inclined to agree with you then. The backups shuld be relatively easy to get for not a great deal of money - which then allows us to really got to town on the main man.Why aren't more people suggesting Yakubu (at least as backup)?
He's shown this season that he's not too fat to cut it in the PL - his goal record has been outstanding.
He's six foot tall, strong as an ox, still only 29 and will likely be dirt cheap.
Plus 'arry knows him well - surprised we're not being linked with him tbh.
We have already one brain-dead striker in Defoe, we don't need another in Yakubu ta very much!
What we need more than anything else is intelligence in the final third along with an obvious knack of putting the ball in the back of the net.

you've just described Berbatov

I might be wrong, but if I remember correctly, THOWIG is in Manchester and does have connections. Like I say though I could be wrong.
It did cross my mind when writing that post yes!
But that is the remit for me when looking for a forward to lead our line and if he is available at a decent-ish price then he has to be worth consideration surely?!
After that, I still think someone like Fletcher is worth a punt as a rotation striker and is young enough to keep his value should it not quite work out but definitely has alot of upside about him.
can someone with a better knowledge of world football than me compose a list of younger less established strikers they think would do a job for Spurs.
Not the obvious Llorente or Rossi types, more like an Falcao before he took off at Porto
Maybe 5-10 "one's to watch"
Doesn't really mean much. The guy's one of the best forwards in the world!cavani wud be nice. i remember reading joe jordan is a huge fan. wud be great signing and if we missed out on signing like people say on hazard then using that supposed transfer fee on cavani wud be nice alternative.
mind you the day i see levy spend 25 million plus on someone is day i think i will have to eat my own runners. but a player to really bring us up a notch or two.

from that list I know 4, so this was exactly the type of thing I was hoping for. ThanksAlexandre Lacazette
Bas Dost
Eduardo Vargas
Erick Torres
Henrique
John Guidetti
Jordan Rhodes
Lacina Traore
Leandro Damiao
Luuk De Jong
Stevan Jovetic
Tim Matavz
Are you Jovetic's agent? Every post i see you make is bigging up the guy! He would be good tho. Wont happen tho.Jovetic can play upfront but I wouldn't include him in that list. Its a secondary position for him.
